I tried a 10 roll, got a 4* CE... and nothing else of note.

 

120 quartz, no Astolfo. I did get Emiya, however. Which is nice, I guess.

 

I gave in after my two tickets, Beo and Magdalene, and my 10x got me Astolfo. Also, my first Bond 10.

 

I am tempted to roll for trappy mctrapface, but the lure of Jalter is just too strong.

 

Congrats on the bond 10 NuitTombee, George has a pretty good bond CE. I'm a little over 88k away from getting Herk to bond lv.10 myself and I can't wait.

 

Have shit for quartz but rolled anyway since Shirou is on my must have list. I only had about 16 quartz and three tickets.

Didn't get Shirou, but somehow managed to pull Waver and Kid Gil from single tickets so I'm not all that mad. Plus a decent number of useful CE's. But damn...I really wanted Shirou.

 

Why would you burn tickets on mctrappy when arguably the best servant in the game is around the corner?

I could understand if he's good, but he's garbo...

I mean, unless you wanna fuck. I can respect that.

 

I honestly shouldn't have rolled. Tickets are fine but I should be saving for Kiyo Lancer when Summer comes. No interest in Jalter, if I ever need to use her there will be plenty on my FL.

 

JAlter isnt even in the top 3 best servants. To be actually useful in tough battles she needs Merlin or someone very similar to him. She really isn't flexible and doesn't have skills for her survival. Without Merlin JAlter is worse than Cu Alter.

Ozymandias, Gilgamesh, Waver, Merlin, all are way more flexible and can stand on their own very well or if they have half-decent servants to support. A beatstick isn't what you need to actually beat the hard content in FGO.

Amakusa isn't garbage. He's super niche, but for challenge quests he's really good.

 

I don't give a shit about Astolfo, though having another decent rider never hurts.

Shirou on the other hand? He was by far my favorite character/servant introduced in Apocrypha. Don't get me wrong, Cu and Achilles are probably the best bros you could ask for, but Shirou simply resonated with me.

Too bad he's not all that good in the game. He's not bad, but he could be better. Ah well...

God, it hurts me so much that ISKANDAR KING OF BROS, best character in Fate/Zero, is so mediocre and completely outshined by Ozymandias, Quetz and Drake.

 

Challenge Event announced for the 1st of March, aimed for high level characters. Does this mean we're finally going to get something difficult to fight, rather than a massive health pool to deplete?

 

It's just a bunch of time-gated quests with gimmicky bosses. Nothing all that difficult about it.

Kiss Your Hand, Teacher and I, Four Beasts and Noisy Obsession seem to be the best ones, but honestly don't know which to pick at this point. All are rather useful.

 

I picked Teacher and I for two reason, love the art and so I can slap on it on Drake so she get all the stars and just Crits endlessly. Has been working great.

 

yeah, I went Teacher and I too. Very rare I'm in a situation Drake doesn't auto take all the stars anyway, but maybe she can get 100s with like 10 stars now? Could be fun to try with two 2030s...

 

She does. That's the main fun of it. Guaranteed Crits almost always for her and no stars going wasted on support.
