I'm looking at the enemies and it seems like the only really difficult fight will be the final battle. High HP Avenger bosses are the absolute fucking worst what with Zerkers (and BB) being their only counter.

Dantes has 500ksome hp and he's the only enemy in the round so no time for NP gen. He also has a short NP bar, and he pops his pierce invincibility skill before using it so adios Jeanne stall team.

I'm thinking I might try Herc TCat Tamamo in frontline with a bunch of NP guage up CEs to spam NP and decharge him as much as possible before the first wave, and then Vlad Mash and support Waver in back to wittle away at what's left of him while alternating their defense buffs.

 

A reminder that for the Dantes fight we get supports back.

 

Hmmmm. Herk + Vlad + Waver + Support Kintoki - Mash and Leonidas or George in the sidelines. Buff up and Load up Vlad and Herk's NPs, tag Waver out, Kintoki NP UP and then lay down the pain.

 

My plan is Tamamo (with 2030), Kintoki (with Halloween Princess), Waver, and support Tamamo. Kintoki hits his NP on turn one, Waver charges Kintoki's NP before being switched out with Tamamo. From there, I'll use Kintoki's NP as much as humanly possible. If he dies before Dantes, I'll enter into stall tactics with Waver and Double Tamamo, which should be enough to easily pull out a victory. That shouldn't be necessary though. People have (so far) really overstated the difficulty of this event.

I really wish the quests could be repeated. I want to try them with different combinations.

 

Is it just Amakusa or does Dantes NP also removes all buffs? Because that might be painful for Stall teams.

 

Dantes doesn´t not but he has a skill that ignores Invincibility witch I am not sure if it includes evasion.

 

Pierce Invinc. > Invincibility > Sure Hit > Evasion

 

Welllllp...Dantes wiped Herc and Vlad in 3 turns even with Waver mitigation, and it was all downhill from there.

Command seals saved the day though.

 

Kintoki got his NP off twice before Dantes beat him. He then destroyed Waver and double Tamamo with his NP, which admittedly caught me off guard a bit. Herc's skills, along with some help from Mash, kept him alive long enough to finish him off. I was getting worried for a bit, there.

Dual Hercs, one with a Castle of Snow, made it no issue.

 

I beat it with Tamamo/Nero Bride/ Support Vlad. Managed to get off 3 of Vlad's NP, 2 of Tamamo's, and 1 of Nero's.

 

Yeah, Tamamo, Waver and np2 Vlad rekt him. The ghosts were harder insomuch that casters do no damage.

 

They're doing the livestream thing again on the 14th. We'll hopefully get some quartz like last time. More importantly, it will hopefully have even more cringe.

I hope they show off their teams again. I want to know if they've made any improvements. Oh, and the live line reading again. Oh God, I can't wait.

Got all the generals laughing at us last time. This should be fun.
Also, maybe they'll announce Jeanne Alter for after the singularity?

 

On an unrelated note, managed to get Frankenstein with a summon ticket, she worth pushing when I already have Hercules and Tamamo?

 

Her and Herk fulfill different niches. Herk is your last breath Nuke. Tamacat and Fran are farming AoE Zerks. Fran has higher damage and a stun that disappears more quickly. You can safely use both for farming quickly, at the same time.

 

Saber Wars is getting a rerun in JP. I can't wait to experience this event again, only this time without MHX - there is literally nothing else I would rather be sinking hours of my time into.
