That's great and all, but at no point have they even suggested it's going to be HF, and in fact have referred to it every time simply as a remake of the first anime.

So you don't really have any right to be pissed if (when) it's not a Heaven's Feel adaption. Nobody ever even suggested they were doing a Heaven's Feel adaption. A lot of fanboys simply got their hopes up based on the unbreakable logic that HF hadn't been adapted yet, therefore it definitely had to be HF.

I honestly don't understand how people would expect them to just straight up adapt HF anyway. Most of the route is internal thoughts and really boring scenes that are only any good because of those internal thoughts. Not to mention it explains nothing at all since you have to have played both Fate and UBW to even be playing it.

The most likely scenario is an original mix of the routes, built as a semi sequel to Zero. Simply done better (well, an attempt to anyway) than the DEEN version.

 

Because even a well animated Fate route is still just the Fate route. I admit the Fate route is good, but only the UBW and Heavens Feel route get into epic territory.

Just remaking Fate feels a bit like a cash in and really disappointing.

 

I would totally be fine with a Fate Route. The fate route had some epic moments. I'd prefer UBW though, the movie was too rushed.

 

I am going to guess (pray) that it's Heaven's Feel if only because of this:

1. Heaven's Feel is by far the darkest route within FSN.

2. UFOtable did adaptations of both Fate/Zero (Which is pretty dark and gritty) and Kara no Kyoukai (Which at times felt even more dark and gritty). And they did those adaptations well. Therefore, it wouldn't be all that strange for them stick to what they do best and adapt a dark and gritty route.

3. Sibling bonding from Shirou and Ilya, which would be a great continuation to how Fate/Zero left off.

I'm not saying I prefer Heaven's Feel over the others.

But it better damn well be Heaven's Feel.

 

I'd like to join in on the HF bandwagon. It's the one that fits best thematically with Fate/Zero. I hope it's Heaven's feel. Though admittedly, UBW is pretty damn badass.

The only better than Heavens Feel would be if they turned around and finished Mind of Steel/Superhero... that's not happening, but it'd be the greatest thing ever. It'll probably be Fate though, at least it'll be better than the other Fate anime.

I would enjoy having some extra episodes be some important bad ends, but I can't think of any bad ends in the Fate route that would be worth their own episode.

Play the VN. It is da best. If you did play da VN, it is the second most impressive bad ends in the series. Sparks Liner High being the most important bad ends.

 

The chances are, it will be Fate route with moments and elements from other routes put together to fit the FZ ending best. But it better be Heaven's feel

 

UFOtable has been pretty damn consistent with their faithfulness to the source material. So I don't think they'll be adding needless garbage from other routes no matter which one they choose to adapt.

And Sparks Liner High is the best ending ever. Which one of those bad ends actually gave you a unique and awesome theme song to go along with it?

 

Sticking closely to one route amounts to shit when there are other two other better routes which have more fitting tone to Fate Zero. FSN is also not a Light Novel so each route is canon enough to allow it.

 

Yeah, that's my opinion as well. Even a remake with a slightly different focus would be fine.

And if you think about how they realised Fate/Zero I don't think they would consider Heavens Feel to be too dark for the audience.

a) Not necessarily. Think about how they started the UBW movie with summarising the events up to the point where the path took off.

b) It's the same for every show with a continuing plotline. You have to have watched the last episode to understand the current episode - and especially you have to have watched the last season to understand the current season.

Yeah, but the summary in the UBW movie irked me. I'll be fine with whatever they do, but I'd prefer an order like, Fate, Ubw, and finally HF.

Personally, I'd Prefer Fate route over HF, and UBW over Fate. I just dislike most of HF and Sakura as heroine. I mean, it had it's moments, but It was just something I could never get into.
