My favorite quote was when harry kicked the shit out of Ron, AKed herman and Ginny before going off to shag fem!blaise...or wait... was that just in my head? .. its so hard to destinguish between reality and fiction any more >_>

 

If only...but that would appease only about 5% of fans (us) so she has to write crap the other 95% likes. That way she makes more money.

I like Luna. She's sometimes very funny, in her weird sort of way.

I liked that little part in Book 5 too. Fred and George are the best. They rank right up there at the top of my fav HP characters.

 

Any Fred and George moment is great, if she could only make each one of the characters as incredible as she's written those two, the whole canon world would be better.

Do away with Ron's stupidity and Hermione's annoying-ness, and Harrys (for the first 5 books) absolute clueless-ness and make them great, fleshed out characters like the twins are, instead of 3 idiots who stuff keeps happening to, and barely scrape out a win in the end.

 

Except that isn't possible. JK's not that good of a writer so she has half created characters. And the only good characters aren't going to appear in the books because they aren't the main characters, just secondary characters in the background. All Fred and George now have is their Diagon Alley shop and we only see them in the one chapter in HBP. POOF! All good characters disappear.

 

Yeah, they all do sadly, it's happened to all my fav characters.

I liked the story behind Sirius alot, and I really would of wanted to see him alive and well in alot of action. This winter when my workload drops off enough to actually write more then 5 words of my story a day, I'll try to do a AU with Sirius based off Post - GoF.

Lupin was great in PoA, but the reasoning of him not being involved with Harry after Sirius' "betrayal" is never explain as far as I can remember, really hurts his character.

Bella kicks ass, but she goes from evil twisted chick to that BS she was in the scene with Snape and Narc.

 

Actually I think that her portrayal in that scene was perfect. Annoying yes. But perfect.

It fits with the way I see her character... I forget where I posted my views on her in more detail.

The one line that REALLY pissed me off is "YOu wouldn't hurt your own sister."

Other than that, I like Bella, but that one line made her turn into a "family gal" who cares too much, because by implication, Bellatrix WOULDN'T hurt Narcissa. That's what REALLY pissed me off.

Other than that line and the "Unbreakable Vow" Thing this was a good chapter (compared to the rest of the shit in the book.)

 

I will admit that this annoyed the hell out of me.

Though I see evidence on both sides of this aisle for this issue.
