The story didn't return to Hogwarts until like, Chapter Nine or so, so you either read more than you recall or you've got it confused with another story.

Edit: I went back and looked, and Harry didn't set foot onto Hogwarts grounds in Dakaath until Chapter Thirteen. Anyway, he was a total arrogant bastard in that story, but that was sorta the point. I never set out to make him a lovable character.

 

I read the first four books of the sacrifices arc... Biggest waste of time in the whole world.

I didn't know what slash was back then, and I thought hmm... Harry and Draco touching each other and kissing... wtf? Maybe its like brothers or something... and I would ignore it.

THen i found out what slash was.

Then i quit reading it.

You might hate it but i still wish you would finish it. It is like one of the most awesome fics ever.

 

Personally, I have yet to find a fic that can outdo any single aspect of Lightning on the Wave's Sacrifices Arc. Except for the slash--which can be ignored--there is nothing wrong with it.

The best action scenes I have ever read, the best descriptions of magic, the most complex tangle of plottiness (word?), the thoroughness of it (or rather, the lack of plotholes), and the incredible update rate are all combined in that one series.

I know many of you will disagree--but this is, of course, simply my opinion.

But for now I'm undecided..nonjon, IP82, Dark Syoran, TheJackofDiamonds and co all have great stories..
