Harry VS Aurora, I loved the fact that Dresden used fairies with knives to do his dirty job.

Harry VS Eldest Gruff, the whole donut thing was awesome.

Harry's soul bitch slap fest.

Harry choking Nicodemous.

Maeve saying something along the lines of "He said he would die to play like that, well, he is dead".

 

Toot Toot rocks, bitches. I mean, Harry has his own little army to use whenever he wants and all it costs is a pizza every week. For the 'Za Lord!

 

For those of you who keep mentioning Harry and the Eldest Brother Gruff...yeah, the donut thing was cool...but...

Harry + Eldest Brother Gruff together in maniacal laughing was sweet.

Harry putting Michaels's sword to his throat and having a huge "if you can't trust me" moment only to realize how much of a Drama Queen he was being.

 

The following scenes were made of pure awesome:

From Eldest Gruff's entrance to his exit. The Donut, as noted, was sweet, as was his complete pwning of Magog.
Harry taking a baseball bat to Cassius in Death Masks. Especially the conversation with the knights after the fact.
To me, one of the most WTF worthy moments was in Fool Moon, when it turns out the lady (Name Forgotten) Turned out to be a wolf who became a human, not the other way around.
Ivy meeting Mister.
Kincaid and his Teddy Glock.

In Proven Guilty at the train staion, when Michael bursts out of the room that he, Dresden, and the workers were hiding in. He completely destroys a bunch of nobs (i think) and Dresden calls him the fist of god. epic.

I thought it was pretty cool how the woman, who is praying, asks them if they are angels and Harry answers 'No, but he's the next best thing' (or something like that)

Am I the only one that was let down at the end of Summer knight? We have this super powerful and evil summer lady, but she gets beaten by tiny little fairies with pizza cutters.

As for my favorite scene, it was the battle on the train with Niccodemes(sp?). It was by far the best fight in the dresden files.

 

Yes, yes you are. There is no cooler way to die than by box cutter wielding fairies.

No, you are not. I simply don't get it why she didn't throw a fireball or something at them. She should have been able to kill the little buggers before they even managed to finish their warcries.

Oh, and Aurora wasn't truly evil. Inhuman, yes, but not malicious or cruel.

 

In my opinion, she should have resisted, nuking a few of the little fuckers, but gone down in the end.

However, isn't it true that Queens can't directly kill anyone not of their own Court? If that's the case, since Mab later said that Dresden Called them and they were basically from his Court, then she couldn't have done shit about them.

 

I think that they can't directly harm someone not part of the Summer or Winter Court. So yea, that would work.

 

No archaid rule stopped her from trying to kill Dresden...and he isn't even a fae.

 

They can attack/harm them if it is to protect them self and their court, but she was distracted and had lost much power (she lost the kinight and his part of power and used much of her power for this 'wall' and for the planned ritual).

So, she would have killed them if she was at her normal high, but she wasn't and well, zig-zag 'For the 'Za-Lord!'

They were Dresden's Weapon, and Dresden was (technically) part of the Winter Court.

So yeah, she could of killed them. Should have killed them.

But, as Harry said in Proven Guilty (During the conversation with Meave), Aurora could have killed him if she payed more attention to him instead of her Plan.

This would, however, end the series, so Aurora had a brain fart.

It was a Plot Armor related win.

 

Part of the problem was her ego. She didnt think anyone could stop her. She didnt think anyone would want to stop her. She fully believed she was right. She wasnt evil just believed completely in her beliefs and had no problems with the consequences.
