That's great. It's nice to see someone show a little pride in this hobby and take fanfiction so seriously.

I'm not entirely surprised though - no writer worth a damn is going to leave the Weasley twins from canon alive.

Worldmaker wins because of saying this:
Ain't calling someone a bit full of themselves when oneself is full of themselves cute? For example,

The dude would be almost funny if he weren't so freaking arrogant about not taking fanfiction seriously... and then deciding to rant about fanfiction in general and the people who write it. It's not like it's serious or anything! Like a shark learning how to surf and getting eaten by his mates because he's a surfer, he just fails at what he set out to do.

:awesome I have yet to understand why this man hates making words plural or why he enjoys abbreviating every word he possibly can. Still, I like this rant.

I have to agree, I've never seen the mischief managed tombstone. Maybe you need to read H/G soul bond stories?

The DLP internet hate machine has most certainly been kicked into high gear.

I haven't either, but really it was inevitable. Someone had to be first, because the clock was already ticking on that one the minute JKR had the Twins hand Harry the map and bad fanfic authors (like JKR) started killing off the Twins in various combinations.

    It's sort of a no-brainer.

Literally... because the phrase didn't really come from the Twins, it came from the Marauders. Putting it on either of the twins' tombstones is akin to saying, "We never had an original thought in our lives, just bury one of us in the coffin Sirius had picked out, since he didn't leave a body, and the other in James's coffin. Harry paid for our store too, so I'm sure he won't mind."

Not exactly an epic moment in fanfic to be proud of.

I've never seen it done before either. Also, I think if you were going to put something on the man's tombstone how about putting "I'm not Fred...I'm George" thereby causing uncomfortable questions to be asked by George's girlfriend.

I've seen them before. My dog got into the beer case at my house. He got drunk and I'm pretty sure it said something like like that. Really though if you have to use cleche things like soul bonds and Harry/Ginny pairings you should really stop writing and keep it to yourself.

    Cleche = Cliché

Calling a pairing a clichéis retarded also, just because you dislike a pairing doesn't mean it is a cliché and doesn't mean it can't be done well.

    Also, quit trying so hard.

darklordcuddles arrives and finally the current level of the thread and the members posting match. In an attempt to drag it out from under the hill of fail: Nymphe14's profile. She's a member here, and the author of 'Not Bloody Likely' (which needs to be updated :/) and says this:

    I especially agree with #6.

Agreed, however, I don't tend to read fanfiction written by an author who tries to prove how smart they are by writing in such a complex fashion, the fact that he calls out JBern and NonJon is hilarious, it's obvious that he can't stand how successful they've been. I can't wait till he calls Joe out.

Nah, I doubt he'll call Joe out, I don't think he's read the Heroes Trilogy or Wastelands. I mentioned Joe and enembee to him when I PM'ed him about a week ago, and there wasn't any mention of them in the reply. Worldmaker's apparently read some of my work and has appreciated it (not really his cup of tea, that whole moral ambiguity thing).

Mostly, in his response, he hates how 'over-hyped' nonjon's and JBern's stuff typically is, and he thinks that while stylistically they are good authors, plot-wise they are somewhat lacking, and he gets irked when people consider their stuff the 'be-all and end-all of fanfic' (and frankly, it's a little hard for me to argue with that). If anything, I get the strange thought that he likes my stuff more than he likes theirs (and the funny thing is, he's only really read my early fics, Dealer Agent and The Broken River, and even I can acknowledge those fics are terrible).

    About Worldmaker:

This bloke is old. Old enough to remember Armstrong's small step. He said so himself.

After reading his "Fun with idiots" list, I noted 3 things:
He asumes everyone who flames him is either female, or from DLP.
He has an odd obsession with feces and ass-kissing, both of wich he mentions repeatedly.
Everyone who ends up on his list is a kid and should
    RANT.
    (And minor nitpicking)
Feel free to ignore this, and if you don't, dont bother me with your whining.

Now, @ Worldmaker. If you are so fucking ancient, why do you whine quite THIS much?

Now, because i like rubbing people's noses in their fail, spelling or otherwise, next time you claim to be a writer, do so after checking your profile.

This is egomania; asuming people make assumptions is asuming people care.

This is in fact right. All opinions are equally valid, as is my own opinion when i criticize those opinions. The only exceptions are your and Tara Gilespie.

A shining example to illustrate my previous observation.

That would be HP-INO. By the way, get an original first peeve would you?

Like those are not on every list, right?

But wait; there is additional fail:

Sirius, Regulus, and Bellatrix are in fact stars, not constelations. Narcissa is NOT a star, let alone a constelation. Andromeda is a galaxy, a fictional star sistem, and (this does not redeem your stupidity) a TV show.

    Ergo, you fail.

I'll say this again, in your own words, to minimize your mental discomfort:

Hate to rain on your parade here mate, but Andromeda is a galaxy as well as a constellation, and Narcissa is based on Narcissus, from where we get the word narcissism (vanity).

Sin, I'm only going to say this once, so sit down and listen closely, will you? I'm truly not in the mood to be generous. If your response isnt "Yes, sir, thank you. I will indeed make an attempt at bettering myself.", expect to be banned for no less than seven days.

In every post I've seen you make, you come off as nothing more than a pompous, self-important dick who's trying way to fucking hard. And now you go on this inane rant. And embarrass yourself so much more than I could ever hope to humiliate you with gross ignorance.

Take a fucking high school astronomy class. The sole example thus far given of the Black children who were not named for stars, is Narcissa, who takes her name from a flower.

Andromeda, the show that is, takes its name from the galaxy which is named for the constellation which is named for the mythological figure. It sucks, by the way. Sorbo should have stuck with Hercules and called it quits. >_>

Chuckleheads, in case you've been living under a rock for the last say... century and a half... is a derogatory slang term. It has never meant "funny people."

And you've got the balls to call people on being egotistical? I also expect the H-PINO error to be merely an error of typing to fast and not proof reading. And while I maintain a public appearance of being a hater of Jbern and would undoubtedly laud this man as a man amongst sheep in other cases, I have to say this: You are in no position to label anyone talented or talentless.

tl;dr: Chill the fuck out or get the fuck out.
