Several months ago I stumbled over a fanfic, still in its earlier chapters. I found the few chapters I read promising at the time, but then I lost interest for fanfiction, and I forgot about it until now.

Of cause, now I can't find It, so if anyone of you remember the following, please answer this thread.

Even though I only read the start, it's distinctive enough, so it should be recognizable:

1. AU story, where Harry is still a child (I think he's 6-8 years old).

2. More specific:

Harry and the Dursley's are on a plane (Don't remember if it's business or pleasure). Harry is seated beside a man, away from the Dursley's. This man has neither a English or Japanese name.

Harry and the man talks, and Harry reveals he talked to a snake, the man becomes very interested in Harry. (I think this was seen from the mans point of view).

After the plane lands, the man puts Harry to sleep(magic), stuffs him in a bag, and kidnaps him.

3. Less specific:

After the above there is a scene with the Dursley's.

There was something about the mans daughter too.

That's that, I hope anyone recognizes this.

 

The fic is on my favourites list I think, I'll check for and edit if I find it.

Where Transformers around in 1985...?

And why doesn't this author use periods? Does he hate them? Why does he hate punctuation? It's a good thing!

 

Periods seem to be the enemy of one to many authors. I think it's the time and effort it takes the author to reach that particular place on the keyboard.
I didn't notice this the last time I read this fic, but I've become much more sensitive to others grammatical errors, after joining DLP.

According to this, transformers came out in 1984 in both America and the UK.

 

The original Transformers cartoon in the US between 1984 and 1987. A Japan-only original series ran from 1987 to 1990. Later in 1996 the Beast Wars series was released as a sequal to the original US Transformers series.

The animated film was released in 1986.
