Anyone recommend some Fics that have veela in them as somewhat important characters? I just read hogwarts dawn by jeconais, not the best fic I know, but it got me curious about reading something that had a central veela character for Harry to interact with.

Only exceptions being no Gabrielle or fleur central fics, I've read them all.

Well, aside from piss-poor slash stories, I think you're shit out of luck here, mate.

Veela stories that aren't focused on Harry taking it up the rear from Malfoy are pretty rare.

I think I remember one story where Harry was being crushed on by a veela friend of Fleur's, but it may be Hogwarts Dawn. Can someone confirm?

Not likely to have much luck then. Kokopelli wrote the Lost and Found 'trilogy'. Interesting, but still features Gabi. Runaway and its sequel also feature Veela, but I haven't read it in a while.

Otherwise, it'll tend to be Victoire (slightly paedophillic and basically OC), or an OFC.

 

I'll take a peek at runaway. But yes likely I'm looking for an OFC.

I'm not saying it's a good story (it's not), but there are Veela OCs in it. It's pretty much a standard super/indy!Harry story and exemplifies pretty much every cliche and then some, so heed that warning. The only other Veela stories I can think of involve bonds, and no one should ever subject themselves to such a story.

 

What role do those veela play, Anarchy?

 

The ones you would expect of multiple hot French Veela to play, fulfilling the author's fantasies and teaching Harry 'magic'.

 

I get the feeling anything with veela involved Is pretty much going to mirror that lol. To bad, it nearly makes me want to write one myself. You know your severely fan fiction deprived when you, as a non writer, have plot bunnies floating around on notecards.

You're mistaking him for Master Slytherin. Who was banned for a short while, unbanned, and then sort of ... 'Left'. Like Yarrgh, Cervus, and Rob.

 

Ahh, my bad then. I think it was Yarrgh I saw who was banned. Confused him with Riddler.

 

Secret of the Male Veela is unfortunately no longer readable. It starts off with Harry inexplicably setting all the Death Eaters on fire in mrriddler's version of the graveyard resurrection scene.
