It's because all the authors other stories are all Slash. He doesn't really know how to wright a straight character if it hit him in the balls. But still no Slash so far, and it's original, so it gets a 4/5.

*sigh* Sadly this is like the tenth future slash HP/SG crossover I've found. One he was raised by the Ferlings and seemed normal until it went into his feelings for Jack.*shivers* Authors need to state SLASH, as the pairing if it's going to be in it. Not just let the reader blindly read a decent story, and then BAM, Snape/Harry smex.

 

Well obv you have yet to read this, there is no slash... yet, but the vibe is there. Hope he just keeps it as it is. (if you were referring to my oda one, then yes, that was a fken whammo.)

 

I started reading this, and tried to like it. I really did. The Marty Sue was to strong for me, though. The fic just rubs me the wrong way. This is how Shezza's SG-1 fic might have turned out, except that Shezza could write much better than this, even then.

No rating, I didn't make it past the first six chapters.

 

Wha..... I said FUTURE slash. Not present. And I have read the story, I have it on my fucking update's. I'm just praying it's not. And what's an Oda?

Story - conflict = fangurl fic. Always.

 

Mostly because I'm praying to every god that I can think of. That He/She doesn't turn it into Slash and I can say I read a decent HP/SG1 story. You have to cherish what little you have.

 

There is one thing you have to know when you think this will turn out slash. All the other stories this author has written the Slash comment was in the comments. And from what I have seen from the first chapter on (he begun another story while he was on my author alert).

So just accept that he is writing a Harry that is eleven with a few problems... Or that the author can't write a straight male....
Even if he turns out gay, it will take a really long time to get to that point at the current pace, but I think at the most, it will be a bit of strange feelings because of his symbiont.

I have more troubles with his extremely long descriptions of technique and his troubles of including magic to his ships.

 

I don't think it will take that long for him to 'turn' gay as you put it. Most slash stories seem to have the characters lusting after the cock fairly early. Hell I'm surprised Harry hasn't already made a move on O'neill, Thankfully he hasn't. I'm just hoping it's light enough that I can close my Eyes and hum to ignore it until it's done.

 

We could only pray for that. But in the author's page it say's that there's no pairings as of yet, which means that the story will probably turn to Slash considering that's the only thing the author is capable of writing.(Every, and I mean every story he's written has turned out to be Slash).
