I'd like to chip in that the engine works just fine on iOS' Safari browser, even if it does look a little weird. :)

Wow. This is wonderful. I had almost given up on fanfiction.net and suddenly this wonderful shit diffusing tool comes along and its fucking wonderful. I can see all the good stories without having to go through 10 pages of summaries consisting of "OMG, Harry and Draco totally have buttsex". You gave us x-ray goggles that filter out the vast pools of complete shit on fanfiction.net and for that, I applaud you.

If you hadn't noticed it, nothing has changed, and you can just skip this post.

If you did, searching for SG-1 stories works now... :facepalm

Any plans on bringing Mass Effect and Dragon Age fanfic into the fold? It would be nice to filter out the manshep/kaiden/garrus stuff, and the anders/zevran/fenris/malewarden/malehawke stuff as well. :)

The site seems to be working well for me via safari on mac, by the way.

Very glad to have this available - I've been hoping someone would do something since the ffnet extender died.

    Love this tool. Thanks.
Would be even greater if sorting by update speed would consider the time since the last update for unfinished stories.

This is the best fanfiction search engine I've used as of yet.

One thing to mention though, would it be possible to exclude story's via author name? I attempted to do so in the Keyword section, probably incorrectly, and can't seem make it work. I can exclude story names but for some reason not author names.

The author's name is now properly indexed, and will be taken into account in your search.

I was wondering if searching crossovers would be possible?

Eventually, yes. I made the mistake of purchasing Skyrim for myself, so I haven't had much time to work on the site. Unfortunately, it looks like the crossover search feature is lower on the totem poll than the other 3 main features.

Any chance of you making it open source so others can contribute?

Just a minor little detail, IMO, but the Minimum DLP Average Score starts at -1 even though it's not a searchable value.

If by not a searchable value, you meant the input box didn't let you enter -1 (the minimum was set to 0), that's now fixed.

If you meant that the box was set to -1 and you clicked search, but the url that got generated interpreted it as 0, clear your cache and refresh the search page.

If you meant -1 is nonsensical as a search value, it actually is sensical. -1 is for stories without a DLP review thread. 0 is for stories with a thread but a 0 rating. Making that more intuitive will be part of the ui overhaul.

I mean that when I went to search it was/is the default value.

    Edit:

Oh okay. So the -1 value will be for when you want stories that are and aren't DLP rated??

Being able to search by DLP score is an awesome feature, moatra. Cheers for the great work.

A minor suggestion: could links to stories and author profiles (and I suppose links to and relevant DLP threads) open in a new tab?

Using the Middle Click button on the link will open it in a new tab.
