Recently Firefox is displaying quotation marks as ’, â€￾ and “. Is there someway to make it stop doing it?

 

It's only done that to me on a few sites, and sometimes on FF.net, but I would also appreciate an answer... It's quite annoying.

 

FF.n and Ficwad are the main problems. It is really annoying when your trying to read a story. It does it almost constantly.

 

Which version are you using? It doesn't happen that often to me, and I'm using v3.

 

I'm using v3. It used to only happened once in a while, but then it got more and more frequent.

 

Never happened to me so I don't know how to fix it but try going View->Character Encoding->Western(ISO)

Are you using any addons for the pages it happens on (stylish etc) if so try disabling them.

 

None of these things have worked T_T.


Edit: FIXED IT. View > Character Encoding > Unicode UTF.

Yeah, I have had this problem on Safari before, easily fixed by playing around with character encoding.
