So, here's the question...Is Fleur Delacour a Cocktease, or is she a victim of her own sexuality?


I say she's a cocktease. I can't imagine she has no control over her veela power. Plus her whole, "Look at me, I'm French. I go to Beauxbaton," strikes me as liberal elitism. Personally, I'd love to grab a handful of Freedom Fries, and shove them down her skinny, French throat. Want some fromage, cheese-eater? Choke on some AMERICAN CHEESE!!!

I was thinking about this, and I realized Fleur/Harry is my favorite pairing. Then I started thinking about Fleur as a character, which lead me to this. And this post.

 

I would prefer reading about tease!Fleur then about angsty sufferings of veela who is too pretty for her own good and can't even find a friend for this and only reason. This problem always seemed horribly strained to me (is "strained" a right word?). On this matter, I don't remember any good stories with a tease!Fleur in it. Pity.

 

We need more fleur/harry. Its too rare.

I'd say 1/2 and 1/2.

Depending on what she wears, she could be a cock tease or a regular girl.

The same thing could be said of Ginny or Hermione, Susan Bones or Lavender.

And whilst I personally dislike the french as a country/ people, I can like a few individual's.

And don't forget. Yes, she may be elitist. But assuming her family is very well off, it's almost a given. If you grew up in pure luxury, you would also be elitist.

It's the environs which shape the personality, not the nature of the person.

In point of fact, 90% of the HP females would try and get into Harry's pants, so easy doesn't carry much weight here.

 

I don't think any of those 90% would try to get into Ron's pants, though. So she is not only easy, but also has spectacularly bad taste.

Fleur is no victim of her sexuality. Who did she pick to go with her to the prom? She picked Roger Davies, who was completely and utterly intoxicated by her powers. If she was, just a victim of her uncontrollable powers than she would have tried to go after someone who doesn't react to her powers with the same intensity. (Someone like Harry, who obviously only finds the burning bush of Ginny fucking Weasley attractive. {and has a thing for asian porn})

Fleur is used to having her way via Veela powers.
Harry is immune to said powers.
Fleur feels "weak" in a sense, since she can't control Harry.
