Man really like where the author went with his characterization, was afraid we would turn into too much of a cunt, still a cunt though.

 

Azami was a bit creepy in his worshipping though. I like it, brings a comedy vibe to this character. As for Souma...as expected from him I guess!

 

I made my first Chaliapin Steak today. It was fucking delicious. My clothes went flying. My mum was bemused.

Pretty much sums up my reaction to this chapter, and this arc in general.

 

I will laugh so hard if Azami is doing all of this because he's jealous of Jouichirou's wife.

 

I will laugh so hard if this is all a massive setup by Saiba who ha sappeared completely aloof so far.

Also, I lol'd at Erina's reaction.

Centra/E10 continue to be a joke. The way appointments and powers/responsibilities are supposed to work makes no goddamn sense.

 

They're an Anime Student Council, they don't make sense by definition.

Rindou initially being against the ousting of the 3rd, 7th & 8th Seats could be foreshadowing of her joining up with Polar Star.

 

I don't think so. Rindou has in no way show herself as anything but supportive of Azami, even if she still maintains her quirks.

Even if something does happen in the future, this won't serve as an indicator.

Honestly, Rindou is being dragged down by the heaping pile of bullshit that is the E10. She is otherwise an interesting character.

 

Erina and Soma's faces this chapter were brilliant for wildly different reasons.

The author just loves that badass Soma look.

Elite Ten as previous chooses the new E10 Members when seats are vacated - This was covered 3-4 chapters ago re; Eizan.

What way does that not make sense?

 

Azami just wants Saiba-senpai to notice him.

Last two chapters looked like they'd be nothing more than a show of E10/Central's strength, basically filler until actual things started happening, and that is what seemed to be going on, but then the last panel of this chapter happened.

I'm really hoping a match goes down. I don't think it will, but it might! Looks more like some declaration of resistance.

 

I'm hoping Takumi gets some of his rep back from before the Mimasaka beatdown.

This chapter the author was pushing the Gin/Saiba resemblance hard, and I don't really mind that, I've always thought of Takumi as being Soma's Equal/Closest rival in the future.

 

Alice continues being the best character
