Are you serious? Everything I talked about was from the first chapter, apart from the part about Harry raising the kid, and I didn't even read that in the story - I just assumed it would happen from Odran's summary and because of course it was going to happen.

Deeply sorry I spoiled that amazing first chapter for you though, mate. To think that you'll never get to experience the shock of finding out that Ginny got preggers by Lionel Luthor is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.

Yeah - I'm serious. There's a reason that EC added the bit about "Don't let the fact that it's Ginny or marked as Romance/Angst dissuade you from reading it" and edited it to include the "don't grade it based on 'OMG! I HATEZ GINNY!'".

Personally, I don't particularly care for H/G. Given EC's comments, though, I took the chance and got about roughly a third of the way into it. In all honesty, though, if I had read your post BEFORE starting, I probably wouldn't have ever even clicked on the link.

As much as I personally disliked the story in the end, I cannot argue the fact that it is technically well written - something that may appeal to other readers enough to finish it and rate it.

Your first chapter spoiler, though, really serves no purpose other than to give H/G haters one more reason NOT to try it. Given that the OP specifically made a request that people give it a chance, I just don't see the point in trotting that bit out.

Regardless of whether or not the spoiler tags are needed in this case (borderline, IMO), their purpose is certainly not to sucker anyone into reading a story they would otherwise not read.

That said, I don't see myself reading this, and it has nothing to do with H/G. Pregnancy plots are the one kind of drama I really can't stand; that is the non-starter, not the pairing. Compare the mentioned Seeking Ginny -- that works well enough (leaving aside that it suffers from the typical "everything could be cleared up if they would only talk to each other" thing, but that probably comes with the territory).

In truth, this isn't a pregnancy plot as much as it's a "motherhood" and a "young woman trying to figure out how to clean up the mess in her life" plot. I think that's what drew me in, because she created a character that emoted, and let me live through something that I, obviously, would never go through myself.
