Dude, I love you for updating, but I agree with Cathal about this feeling like a short filler chapter.

I'm crossing my fingers that you're back in the mood for writing this and we can expect another update soon.

Great story, 4/5. There isn't enough quality Dresden fic to go around so I'm always grateful to those who contribute to it.

I like your premise and plot so far. It's believable. It wouldn't have taken that much for someone to pick up and pass on Harry's unexpected ability to speak Ghoul, and that coupled with his actions in killing the ghouls could easily have raised enough suspicions for the rest to follow. Very nice.

Great that you add in little things to make the story more realistic and entertaining, instead of going with just the basics. I.e. Bob and his antics with Mister, calling the Alphas, etc.

I also like that he isn't accepting the coin any more now than he was in canon, though the temptation is there. Nothing wrong with writing fic where Harry does take the coin, but I don't see that happening here without being out of character.

Good characterization for the most part. However some of Harry's thoughts/actions towards Charity struck me as slightly off. I guess they could be attributed to Lash's increasing influence, but it was still enough to make me think "Hey, this doesn't quite feel like Harry, though it's not that far off."

Again, great story, and I hope to see more of it.

Yeah, pretty much. I've been running around reading some Dresden fic lately and wanted to review what I read. I guess I could just lurk around reading without ever leaving a review, but that doesn't seem very constructive. Not to mention that 95% of the decent Dresden fic is on this site.

As for the location of the review, yeah, I left one in the wrong place earlier for a different story because I'm a dumbass sometimes, but got it right with this one.
