Just read this, and I've got to say, it's an awesome concept piece. It's not exactly the best written or flowing one-shot I've ever read, but the idea and the visualisation I got while reading it were pretty amazing. The title pretty much says it all; it's Dresden's funeral. I'm giving this a 4/5 just for the sheer coolness of the idea. I'm surprised no one else has thought to do this.

It was pretty okay. I liked how it tied up some lose ends (Mister going to Ivy and Ebenezer talking with Thomas). The dialogue was alright, though it lacked Dresden's usual wit, which I can't imagine going away for something like his death.

I didn't really think that Marcone as a part of the funeral procession made sense, but it went with the theme I suppose.

All in all I enjoyed reading it, though it could have been longer and would benefit from a beta's touch.

    3/5

It's alright, but needed a lot more detail on the emotions of everyone there. Or even just their interactions.

Alright, so it seems like the author decided he wants to continue this--he put up a second chapter, at least. In case anyone's interested.
