I am aware of the necro but could we get a mod to update this to include Mini-mafia and Are you a Werewolf?

 

EDIT: Nevermind, seems I have half a dozen different concepts saved for the game in question, some more practical than others owing to different mod's help from IRC months ago. The one I was thinking of seems to be an older and less balanced version than the one Eidolonic helped me with which in turn requires another look at-- no wonder I left this thing alone for the better part of six months :facepalm

Gold mechanic?

 

I will be putting myself on the list for a Choose Your Side variant game. All credit goes to SaintKerrigan for the concept idea, and to AlmasterGM for the improvements made on the concept. For the rules, you can see this post . I may begin signups before certain games above me in the list, just because the setup/balancing for this game takes quite a long time to make everyone as happy as possible.

 

"PM me whether you wish to be aligned with the town, mafia, or third party. Your wish WILL be granted, so choose wisely."

How does this work?

 

You will PM me your preference of alignment in order: (e.g: Player X prefers Town over Scum over Third Party). When the game comes to be balanced, your first choice will almost assuredly be your alignment. There is very rarely a situation where balance is just fucking impossible with everyone being given their first choice, so I sometimes have to dellegate second choice to people. I've never seen someone get their third choice.

Also, you will send me 2 names of character. These can be people or things from works of fiction or real life, and you will get one of those two characters as a role PM, with abilities pertaining to that character's flavor. Hint: If you give me links to find flavor research at, I can make a better role PM for you.

In essence, I will be trying to balance as best as I can. In practice, this game is power role heavy and kinda bastard. Join this game if you're looking to have fun, get a cool role, and just try your luck at scumhunting with weird role interactions.

 

Lexi and I will be looking at the W/L Table as well over the weekend to update it with data from recent games. Please bear with us, since it's a long, convoluted process, but hopefully, you will have a brand, spanking table for your own amusement soon.

I'm hosting Death Eaters IV, because it's shockingly criminal that we have more DLPHunt games than HP-themed mafia games (Battle for Hogwarts doesn't count due to the lack of flavour).

Star Wars IV will come afterwards, timed to coincide with the release of the Star Wars: Episode VII trailer, probably.
