Its a good policy. What's wrong with it? Why should anyone flourish if you're going down? If they (as in the other person/nation(s)) were worth a shit they could weather it.

 

I still personally think it'll be something like the second season of 24, we get nuked on our own soil, and go off half cocked to retaliate and screw up.

Either that, or we get in a war with China or Korea, or invade another Middle East terrorist riddled country and get in over our heads with people who have nothing to loose by fighting in ways we'd shudder to think of.

yep I've said it before here I think, if you research alot of the patents on file with the US gov as far as energy goes, you'll see alot of cool inventions there that could save billions each year if applied right... and the patent holder always ends up being either A)a large oil company, or usually B)The US government.
