Costs 3k gold to buy everything and new active is Swain's E in terms of function.

Magic damage augment vs one target only.

 

It keeps the same function (murder a dude faster) without being a hard to balance double scaling nuke. Still, I don't expect to see it bought any more. And Veigar is feeling very sad right now.

 

Depending on the actual numbers, it could be more effective than the current version of DFG.

 

Well, is it more magic damage from you, or more magic damage from all sources(allies)? If it's the latter, then I agree with Churchey that it could be more effective indeed. The same does apply for the former, but to a notably lesser degree.

 

Does normal hidden elo decay if you don't play normals often? I alternate between ARAMs and ranked queue and when I just q'd up for normals I ended up with a no wards, cs taking volibear support, Karma mid laner, and no jungler. I am befuddled.

 

I think a lot of people seem to be complaining about that, maybe they did something similar to rank elos, and compressed it a bit. (Don't be hating on Karma mid. I show you how op that stuff is if you want)

Just kidding, but really, reworks for her are coming up. She will have hard cc and an ult that is still available at level 1 but with a significantly longer cd so that her mantra'd spells feel actually powerful.

 

So, looking through that New Hud thread, and seeing the Riot posts, there are a few gems to find.

The first, was this image, which includes a few things of note:
- Different prices on Rabadon's, Rylai's, RoA and of course DFG.
- Catalyst will be building into two new items, besides the Banshee's Veil and Rod of Ages. I'm thinking that chain icon is for one of the items they said which would give a cc on an item-active.
- Unconfirmed, but based upon the description, the DFG might indeed work on the principle of increasing all magic damage the target suffers for a period.

Second is this blurb:

So, that Crystaline Flask from the first image, based upon it's positioning is likely a mana regen elixir. Possibly mana capacity, but I think regen fits more with a persistent elixir. Maybe even both.

Little quirks like being able to search "tons of damage" and it showing you Trinity Force, or "double swords" for Zeal. Other similar common slang terms will work as well. Perhaps even "move really fast boots" and the like.

 

They should have an option where typing in "dunkmaster" into the search brings up boots of mobility and zeal.

 

Somebody actually said that in the thread, although it was five zeals, not just one.

 

Technically speaking, searching the store shouldn't give you redundant results (in this case, five zeals) because you could easily click on the zeal already in your inventory and buy another.

Holy shit. I can't see a reason for any AP caster to ever not build this now. Wasn't that why they nerfed it?

 

This is Riot's strategy every single time they nerf something. Nerf it to hell and back, and then overbuff to compensate in one of the following patches. Happens every single time, don't be surprised if Rengar gets a buff for no fucking reason in one of the coming patches. As someone who used to play a lot of jungle Rengar, I can say that he needed that nerf, although I don't like the reduced duration on his ultimate. The duration was fine, I feel that the cooldown increase was justified, though. People were only using it as an escape mechanism when they were split-pushing. It's like nerfing the range on flash because I can flash into/out of Dragon pit when I'm being chased.

 

Lich bane is 50 base + .75 total AP as magic damage
