w/e at lvl 11 wipeout team extremely well

 

On a winning streak with Leona lately. Not sure whether it's because I have adc's that go balls deep with me, players actually not losing their lanes or if I'm just improving with Leona when it comes to engaging/disengaging and using my ult. That said 9/10 games I'm playing against Taric, or Leona if I pick Taric so, it's getting kind of stale but at least it's a winning streak, so not complaining at all.

Last 10 games, 7 of them have been Leona & I've won 6, winning streak up to 3, a new personal best. Debating whether I should grab Sejuani or Kha'Zix next, or just grab some armor quints and try out Azingy-esque Amumu.

 

Just won the most bizarre Ranked game I've ever played.
The problems started in champ select. We had adc, mid and jungler. The guy who said he was going top goes and picks Urgot. There is a general panic and confusion in chat, and the guy who was going to support sees the adc say "take top" and takes Jayce.
In game now, invade (courtesy of enemy Blitz) results in enemy fb and stolen blue. People refuse to go to their lanes, resulting in double top, mid and solo bot. Our Cait dies to blitz grabs, and our jungler (ww) refuses to jungle at all, instead stays top and dies to ganks.
Jayce stayed mid for a while and stole my cs (I was Lux), but eventually went bot with Cait , exchanging kills with the enemy bot.

Despite ww refusing to jungle, urgot feeding and everyone cursing at everyone else in the chat, we were actually winning trades and taking towers.
The game lasted way too long imo, with our team refusing to take ANY towers after we aced the enemy, twice.
In the end, we won. Surprisingly, the troll ww was key to our victory. In between typing "NOOBS" as furiously as he could, he was actually doing good work in teamfights. Me and him secured many kills early and mid game, which allowed our team to not fall behind. Hav I mentioned how much I love all of Lux's moves?

If you'd asked at the start or even at champ select if we'd have won this, I'd have laughed at your face.

This was a game that had everything. Dragon and baron dances, steals, five man ganks, five man failed ganks, fail moments, utter win moments, etc. It was oddly satisfying and frustrating.

 

Picked this back up playing with family for the first time in quite awhile. Items all different for my Veigar, not sure if I cbf to relearn every combination again =/

 

The recommended items for most champs are actually not shit now, so even if you just buy those you can do fine.

 

Just got 40 elo from a game Not that I'm complaining, but it seemed weird. Isn't that a bit too high?

 

Was playing premade with my friends. I decided to roll out Garen and go spin me some win.

Well, because some of my friends are kinda bad, we always play blindpick, so I had no idea what would come. The opponent ended up being AP Nidalee. I thought I was toast, what with that ranged harrass and all. Seems I was quite wrong. Proceeded to stomp that Nidalee 4-0 and got assist on the opposing jungler who got counterganked so hard.

Long story short, I carried through the whole game by going manmode straight into the enemy team. The sweet tears of frustration from my opponents were rather delicious.



I've also been having some supreme fun with Jayce and Jarvan IV at top these last days. Especially Jarvan, it seems that no-one has any clue about how you lane against him.

And Black Cleaver Pantheon is still a ridiculous beast. Rather easy to play, and oh my god does that Heartseeker strike do damage.

 

You're probably still in your placement matches? You'll lose more elo when you lose too.

 

I thought only the first ten matches were placement matches?

 

Nope. Elo boosted gains/drops last for quite a while after. Especially if you fight lopsided matches.

 

I'm loving the new Iceborn Gauntlet on Ezreal.
It's so strong for midgame, especially with teammates who have AoE damage.

Just went 21/3/10 on Ezreal! Super pumped now from the adrenaline

 

If you builty TF and IG would TF's bigger Spellsword passove be thevone to activate?

 

Yes, and a Lich Bane would apply ahead of either of them. But why would you ever build both?

I love that TF's q procs Lichbane, but if you kill the target with only the q damage, the lichbane applies to your next auto instead. Awesome.

 

Winning streak came to an end at 11 games, continued playing after my first loss in a while, won again, thought I'd continue, mistake.

Here I am 4 games later getting stuck on the teams I seemed to be up against in my wins, basically the incompetant. Sigh... Kinda depressing to only earn +11 - 15 for a win yet lose 18 - 20 per game, really depressing. Can't do anything about it either, even went jungler every game but my lanes got stomped before I could do shit, and they never warded despite my pleas so, fuck 'em.

Not even mad, just irritated that I got thrown back down 70 ELO after climbing 120 over the past few days, makes my progress look worthless because people can't build to match their lanes, eg no armor vs Riven, Kha'Zix rushing TF, Teemo vs Riven (dw guys, I counter her!) ... /Whimper.

 

Easily the most horrifying words to see in a ranked game.

 

Yup, I just kept my mouth shut knowing Riven vs Teemo probably wouldn't go well, though it was nice to see Dunkmaster YI make an appearance (he finished the game with Wriggles & 3 PD's working on a BT).

Not long till the huge skin sale now, on the one hand I'm not overly fussed as I don't make a habit of buying skins, on the other it's a nice idea though I can see why people are frustrated about not being special snowflakes for much longer. So, any skins you guys are eager to get your hands on?

 

I forgot there was even going to be another sale. The Legacy skin sale was enough for me.
