Thing is, from how I've seen it being used, it should primarily be used to disengage when the enemy is already in melee range of you, not when they're still trying to catch up.

TBH, she's probably better top since she can avoid ganks like a boss there.

 

I've seen some Quinns that are an absolute terror. She's a bit like Vayne if she gets ahead. A slippery champ who does good sustained damage and Un-Freaking-Real Burst damage once her build reaches the right point.

 

Quinn with Triforce is a terror. Not sure if it's better than the more standard AD builds, but the burst you get is really painful.

 

Could have sunk all that into AD and make her skills stronger instead.

 

If you wanted burst, you would probably get more from a pure AD item like a Bloodthirster, than from the trinity passive... Extra AD scaling on Passive into E into passive again would probably be stronger that way, than the 150% base damage of the Trinity passive. That and the extra sustain.

That being said, move speed, attack speed and life isn't terrible, even if the AP is wasted and mana isn't really a problem for her. Also, her cooldowns are low enough that it's pretty easy to trigger E-Auto-Q-Auto-W-Auto-Q/E-Auto-Q/E-Auto if you want to activate the Trinity again and again.

 

I don't have her unlocked myself, but I played a few duo queue games with my friend. He was building Berserker's Greaves > Trinity Force > Bloodthirster, more like an oldschool Corki/Ezreal than a normal AD carry.

Mind you, he also runs Teleport just so he can rush a Philosopher's Stone and get back to lane without missing CS. I'm not sure his advice is always the best

Not quite as trolly as grabbing red buff over the wall and tossing into baron/dragon enclosure, or even blue buff and tossing it into red enclosure across the river(not completely sure if time allows it with normal boots 2 move speed, but possible with some tweaks I'm sure.), but still quite amusing.

Hmm, conveniently everyone d/c'd except the enemy AP Mid. Their Annie stuck around kind of trying to push in lanes where I wasn't until I caught her out and killed her. After that, she just quit and I had to push down the Nexus to win.

I got a victory on my record, everybody else got 'Leave'(presumably it will be forgiven).

 

Couple of stupid questions coming up;

Does Kat beat Karthus, and does Garen beat the Monkey? Because if they do... I just had two of the worst players I've ever seen in Silver. Hilariously bad I mean, but still. I love Janna but she is in such a weak spot right now... Great fun with a Varus or Draven though, watch the health chunks fly.

Another promo series lost, mother of god. Jungle Taric was used to great effect against my team. Man if I could play against the teams I get put on, that'd be great... Not 1 ward all game, even from the support. I didn't bother because I got both my buffs stolen with no help early =\.

Double edit; Jungle Taric, how would you go anyway? 9/21/0 with double armor runes, or MPen? Armor Quints? I have no idea.

I've been going 9/21/0 (Fury/Blast/Arcane Knowledge) with attack speed reds and movement speed quints. W,Q,W,E then R>W>E>Q. Build full tank with a splash of AP if you want more damage.

 

I knew it, the day I get Nidalee in an ARAM & someone dodges. On my own team. Sigh.

Really questioning the whole 'ARAM' thing too, 3 games in a row I got Mundo, like, I have 82 champions, I'm not doing the math on the odds but they've gotta be up there.

Lot of Malz & Cass's lately... Any real idea why? It's just odd that suddenly every mid laner is playing Malz or Cass, it's kinda nice to see, but also rather scary when they get behind.

Jarvan nerfs should be expected, but they're pretty drastic. No more double up for E, slight shield increase (which no one will ever notice), quite a few changes. He'll probably still be playable though.

P.s. Zephyr and Hydra buffs? Yes please.

 

So, how about the new Karma looks, and Nidalee skin? Kind of sad that the traditional Karma looks like it has less actual graphic definition to it. Also, kind of wish she had fans hovering behind her rather than Ionian blades, heh.
