I don't even know man. I've been going over the Skarner changes intensely with a friend, and I feel it could still end up being a buff in some ways. Derpiest passive known to man though.

Even bigger deal in my opinion is the new item:

Titanic Hydra
Tiamat + Ruby Crystal + 1000 gold (3300 Gold total)
+250 Health
+50 Attack Damage
+100% Base Health Regen
UNIQUE Passive: Basic attacks deal 20 plus 1% of your maximum health as bonus physical damage on hit.
UNIQUE Passive - Cleave: Basic attacks deal 40 plus 2.5% of your maximum health as physical damage in a cone on hit (the target does not take this damage).
UNIQUE Active - Crescent: Your next basic attack deals physical damage equal to 20 plus 10% of your maximum health in a larger cone on hit (20 second cooldown, Cleave doesn't apply to this attack).

A standard Bruiser will be gaining easily 100 damage per attack and 350~ damage active. Plus wave clear. God damn.

I remember having fun with tank yi in the past with atma's impaler, now I wanna try it again with that, lol.

 

Skarner feels like a snowball change. Not a huge impact if the jungles are near skilled but a train wreck if there's a big difference between the two. Darius makes me super happy.

 

I think it will definitely make Skarner more of an early game threat. For one, his new passive means he will have full mana after his first few clears (which was a huge issue before) and his stun is now much easier to land early game. Invading second camp will also be a lot scarier and will probably lead to a lot of junglers getting three buffed.

Aside from that, it also means he doesn't need to build Frozen Heart, which could add a lot of indirect late game power.

Late game he's still a walking ult, so his ganks shouldn't suffer too much.

 

I presume your '100' damage is including the innate 50 AD.

Anyway, the main tradeoffs of the item when compared to Hydra, are that the Base Health Regen is generally weaker than Life Steal from a Hydra(plus on Passive and Active), and the damage of both the aoe passive and active are weaker. I suppose the on-hit passive + 50 AD is technically more damage than 75 raw AD of Hydra, but the lost AD for scaling(on Champions who generally have poor Aspd) can be a definite tradeoff.

That all being said, I could definitely seeing it work well on certain people, or builds. For example, jungle Shyvana with Sated Devourer, Titanic Hydra, Ruined King, Wit's End, Randuin's, Boots. Jungle WW. Renekton, I suppose.

...actually, how would the Titanic Hydra active interact with Dragon-form Q? Intriguing. (or simple and boring)

 

So can someone with PBE access test something for me? I really want to know if Gangplank Q can be used to apply the active portion of Titanic Hydra. Because if you could farm a whole wave without a barrel, that would be pretty sick.

TSM vs CLG in the playoffs. Pretty hyped.

 

I want to believe in CLG. I really, really want to. But three years of experience has me very cautious.

For real though, I want to beleive. As someone who was originally a CLG EU fan I have a soft spot for CLG. Would like them to do well.

I'm pretty sure the Universe would blow up if Doublelift ever actually managed to win a tournament.

 

My love for Zion is enough to counteract my annoyance with Double-lift.

When C9 was crashing and burning, I started hoping they would just disband so Sneaky could go to CLG and be with his one true love, Aphro.

 

As a TSM fan, I want CLG to win, preferably in a 3-2. TSM already have their spot at Worlds, so hopefully Liquid takes 3rd and Xpecial goes as well.

Anyway, Darius and Dead man's plate are gonna be so OP, idk about morde yet

 

I think Darius is really bad right now, its so unrealistic to use his new passive with his low ass atk speed.

You can get it by killing someone with his ult but he doesn't really do damage with his Q anymore, so by the time you kill someone you should be dead to his teammates.

He can work if you get ahead in lane but he lost a lot of his lane bullying with his new q. Also the dealy on his q is soooo bad. Fells like it takes forever to use. He's really easy to abuse in most match ups.
