    I used to play US before they made EU servers. I couldn't go back to having 160-240 ping when I have come to know the joys of 40-80 :p

    So....I used DvorakQ's account, which is level 30, so that I could check out Miss Fortune. I didn't realize that I'd be playing against OTHER level 30s, and, well, 'rape' would be putting it lightly. D8

    KDA was like 1/13/2 or something. My team must have LOOOVED me ;D

    Silly woman, that was obvious.

    Some basic tips:

    Always keep an eye on the chat and minimap, they are invaluable to you. If somebody says mia, miss etc then pay attention. Especially if its mid and especially if you are winning your lane. Walk back to your tower for a second. 30 seconds lost of experience is worth less to you than a successful gank is to them.

    If one of your lanes is in trouble then go and help out. Don't be content with farming. A hero kill is worth about 25 creeps. So ganks>farming. Always.

    Yeah, getting annihilated made me realize that even more. I just don't really go for the kills anyway, I go for the turrets. Playing with my fellow lvl 11's though, is much easier after that game haha.

    Unfortunately, there is no replay or observer function so people can't really help spot your playstyle out of game.

    Here are some ways to improve rapidly:
    1. Playing with good players(on their smurfs) can help, but their attention won't be on your play 100%.
    2. You could try streaming your playing on justin.tv. If you have a decent computer and good upload, its probably the best way to get critiques on your play. If you're shy, you can turn your stream private for only dlp members to view.
    http://multiboxing.com/world-of-warcraft/wow-game-news/how-to-stream-hdhq-video-to-justin-tv/ <--- guide to streaming
    3. Watching streams of good players help a lot so long as you don't mimic mindlessly(just because so-and-so got that item build one time, does not mean you should ALWAYS build your hero that way etc). Also play a lot.

    Option 1/3 are the common options. Option 2 takes the longest time to set up, but since you're a girl gamer, you'd definitely be popular and be able to elicit tons of advice from well meaning nerds/geeks ^.^

    re: Illution, i ebayed that account just because I was curious. I do have a couple smurfs that are 20+ but most only have 6-10 heros unlocked

    Instead of streaming yourself. You could learn a lot from just watching high ELO streamers. Most of the high ELO players in the top 20 stream frequently. I became a much better strat caller for my team after watching a few high ELO games.

    http://clgaming.net/media/livestreams/
    has a list all all existing LoL streams and displays the ones online.

    http://www.leagueoflegendsstreams.com/home/
    is another one

    A couple of good commentators who often give advice and record their HD games are TreeEskimo and Roku:

    http://www.own3d.tv/TreeEskimo

    http://www.own3d.tv/Rokudan

    If you are a beginner/intermediate player you could learn a lot from (2k ELO) TreeEskimo's commentated videos that are meant to be guides on the game as a whole.

    You play your champion better by playing the game yourself. That's the practice effect on mechanics and control. But you learn more about awareness from high ELO streams. Awareness like knowing when to engage, when to back, when to push, when to group, when split, when to do dragon/baron, when and where to gank etc...

    oh yeah.
    Don't forget about /mute _idiot player_ for the douchebags players in game (mute just ignores them for that one match, /ignore is forever). The majority of my friends who stopped playing this game, stopped playing because of the insults/flames from people with multiple accounts.

    Tree Eskimo is the best to learn from (if watching streams) since he explains his actions clearly/concisely. However, there is a vast difference in the quality of players he plays with versus who you play with. Don't expect your team to always know the score. Some folks are farming jungle creeps 75 minutes into the game after acing enemy team....

    As I see you pass level 11, I'd like to warn you not to buy tier 2 runes, and just stick to tier 1's and go directly to tier 3 after lvl 21.

    Haven't really been playing LoL too much last 2 months. Supposedly they changed jungle xp or something so this might be outdated.

    marks: depending on hero: Armor Pen|| Attack Speed ||
    Seals: " " Dodge || Armor|| Flat HP || Attack Speed
    Glyphs " " Attack Speed || Flat Mana || CDR || Mresist
    Quints " " Exp || Armor pen || Movespeed || Flat HP ||

    The really strong junglers like warwick can be built anyway they please. Some heros that scale with attack speed (xin zhao, irelia) use attack speed for marks. Other weaker junglers need really specialized runes (akali, eve etc).

    Would attack speed/Attack speed and EXP work for Olaf?

    Is it possible with Tier 1 runes?

    And what about fiddlesticks?

    It's doable, but there are better runes then those. And Teir 1 runes? Lulz, not worth it to jungle. And fiddle is an okay jungler. Most just get blue buff and then go lane.

    Yesterday was awesome. Played a custom game to screw around with veigar, and dominated a 1700 ranked ELO playing his 80% win+most played in ranked corki top lane. Win in 26 minutes.

    :awesome

    I personally find bigfatjii, CleverAdvisor, and TreeEskimo to be the top streamers to watch. If just starting these videos are ok:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/lcsullla

    The play is middling quality, but if just starting out the commentary is quite nice I think. Just ignore the videos of me sucking when I just started playing with them(when I just started playing ). ^^

    Veigar is pretty epic, if you can play him right. That stun is deadly.

    I can't play veigar, I get trapped into the farm mode mindset trying to farm that nuke up to delicious damage.

    Thats why I took solo top that game, and farmed for about 20 minutes, which by that time I had around 500AP. At that point, with enemy team top tower gone, we forced dragon fight after buff fight after push. Too fun. :D

    @DvorakQ: Your acc with all champs still active? I sorta want to try akali+anivia.

    I usually rush that Rabadon's hat (which gives 150 and 30% AP) first, even before finishing boots with Veigar. You can have it pretty early (before 15:00 usually), even if you don't manage to make a kill. Once you have that, you're sure to pretty much one shot any squishy in your way. Harass a little, once they have like 80% of their life, make your Death Combo (Stun/Meteor/Q/Ulti) and you've got yourself one kill.
