Forum migration has gone through, downside is ISO tool seems to be mostly lost. I've heard tell of some scripts that make it doable and will look into that.

 

The ability to view an individual's post from a thread in isolation. I believe Jan reworked some code from mafia universe for us previously.

 

It was a 2+2 script, written by the same person who wrote the mu forum stuff, but yes, close enough.

In the old forum you could look at someones posts in isolation, but you could only see the first 20 words. The script just extended the posts to full lenghts.

I don't see if this forum has that function at all.

 

This is using the same software (but probably a newer version) as fantasystrike.

So we're missing the post counter and easy 'posts by person' search.

It seems like currently the search functionality is limited too.

On spacebattles, when viewing forums you can click on the number of replies to a thread to see who has posted and how many times. Is that something you can turn on for DLP?

 

It suffers from the problem of not being able to view the whole post though, it just shows a snippet. You have to open every post in a new tab in order to actually read all of someone's posts.

Makaze (coder behind MU) has an addon or something that can be plugged into Xenforo that gets around this if I recall, I'll look into it.

 

Also thumbs are back. It wasn't much of a problem before though, so not really important.

 

Huh, it appears the requirements for being able to give thumbs-up have changed as well? I think I was previously unable to do so (due to post count?)

Edit: I also no longer see the "M" tag for mafia game threads. Unsure if those are still there and/or are still necessary for game-threads
