How are daily commissions still in the game as they are?

I've stopped doing them this week. I think if I see Ella Musk one more time I might just yeet her into the sea. It's a not-inconsiderable amount of primos over time, but just the thought of doing them any more kinda makes me sick to my stomach...

They are pretty glacial at updating things that clearly need improvement. I'm still pissed that there's an achievement that requires you to do a specific daily commission 5 times, and in the 270 days I've played the game, I've gotten it a total of zero times. Commission rng is terrible, they need to remove the limit of one 'talk to an npc' commission per day at the very least.

Mindless dailies are mindless dailies. At least it's only 5 mins a day instead of 1,5 hours like back in WoW.

 

I would happily ignore them were it not for the primos. They're a decent enough system to get to 55, after that they feel excruciating.

This might be a knock-on effect of how greedy the primo economy is in general.

 

Well. RNG decided to screw me over again. Rip Kazuha, hello c3 Qiqi who i don't like use using. Literally any other 5* would have been a better pity pull. At least ayaka or yoimiya is guaranteed now.

 

Kazuha's design seems lazy to me. He's just a vague hybrid of Venti/Sucrose. Brings literally nothing new to the roster.

His personality is disappointing too. I was expecting Zen Wandering Samurai and instead he's a beat poet.

 

Sucrose has become insane since the 1.6 update. She's arguably the best dmg support in the game now for teams relying on transformative reactions, esp at c6 (I'm 2 away from that unfortunately).

I've built her full EM with an R5 Sac Fragments to go into my Fischl/Baedou/Childe team. While she technically CCs, I don't even factor that into her kit. Pure dmg: +ele dmg, res shred, +em.

We already have 3 anemo supports now, all pretty great for different uses. Kazuha doesn't add anything new or interesting. I'd rather use Sucrose.

Might have been interesting if he was a different element, but another anemo support without a niche seemingly seems lazy.

 

I think it was a missed opportunity to not make him the first dual element user. The quest set up the whole thing perfectly. He could have revitalized his dead buddy's vision and been anemo skill / electro burst.

 

I'm genuinely scared she's gonna put Keqing out of business...

Speaking of. Am I the only one feeling like the original 5*s are getting pretty boring? (Venti excluded).

Keq, Diluc, Jean, Mona, Qiqi. I barely use them anymore (often preferring 4*s over them). Maybe this is a consequence of locking so much of their kit behind constellations (and me mostly having c6 in the 4*s I use).


I'd love to hear the developer's thoughts on this (feature / complexity creep more than power creep), but they're too busy making up questions no one asks for their dev q&as...

 

Huh? The release 5*s have some of the weakest constellations in the game. It's the post-release characters who have the crazy constellation power creep. Klee has better constellations than any of the initial 5*s, Childe had controversy over being so dependent on his, c6 Xiao is completely broken, c6 Eula is like 5x+ stronger than c0 Eula...

The release 5*s are feeling a bit outdated, I suppose, compared to the increasingly more and more complex characters, but Keqing is still hella fun to play, even if she's the second weakest 5*.

Only 3 more weeks of stalling till Inazuma...

YOU CURSED ME BTW, I've gotten her 4 times since I posted a week ago.

I already called Kazuha a hybrid between Venti and Sucrose when the leaks came. He felt really smooth to play (I loved his hold E), but he's a hard skip for me, unless you whale, he's not worth it, and the anemo roster is already stacked.

 

Has anyone been suffering sudden game stutter and lag post 1.6? Or is it just me?

 

I’ve always had it (mobile player with the highest resolution settings) but it has gotten worse recently.

Aside from that, has anyone managed to max out rewards from the boss gauntlet event? It gets really hard with all the settings activated.

 

I've cleared it with 30150. First time I've really had to be picky with the difficulty modifiers and team comps, but was able to get through most of it with Eula/Fischl/Diona/Noelle.

Can not imagine trying to do max modifiers.

 

I got 29990 because I fucking miscounted my totals lmao. Didn't care enough to run again for 30k.

I get weird laggy stutters sometimes, other times I'm okay. I'm not quite sure what brings it on tbh.

 

People in my discord are also complaining about a weird stutter lag today.

I semi-tryharded the event, so I got 45k, but the last day was a huge nope, even whales who had spent thousands of dollars and tried for hours didn't get max score. Definitely the hardest challenge in the game yet, even for whales. It got annoying farming mats for food and pots. Who the hell decided they should only last 5 mins? Should be 30 or something.

 

I just did the 150 for the last day when I saw what it was. A real fun magnet that one, luckily I already had 30k so I really didn't care.
