I got diamonds up to something like 150 or so, camping harpies in map two like you mentioned. Upped my endurance a lot and upgraded my armor with onyx.

I spent 2 hours fighting a single enemy in the desert level. Just wait until you need the Hyper Armor, I spent a long time getting that.

I can't recall how I got diamonds. I think I camped the witch boss, or it was the ice queen boss. Not sure.

Also tips for death: Get NIN NIN the cat on the level where the Shrine of Fate is located. she'll heal you every once in a while. I was able to leave the game and go answer the door while fighting death, and when I came back I was still alive. She'll be in a secret spot, middle right where the coast indents.

I don't even know how to begin fighting the final map's boss. I mean, I could probably learn all the attacks and dodge and everything, but even then it would take a long time. I think I'm just going to try to power up enough that I can just muscle my way through it.

Also: Yggdrasil can increase your stats. When you kill it, there's a chance it'll drop a stat-increasing apple.

Trents seem to drop apples as well, though not as frequently. They're on the same map as Yggdrasil, and the money they drop isn't bad.

There are a number of places you can get great cash.

    Level 12 - mid - left battlefield.
Level 14 - the one on the ice.

Both have mixed mobs, ranging from low to high and both give great gold, with the 14th one, ofcourse, being far far better. But until you unlock that...

Try to find areas where there are mobs from different levels. Those areas are great for slogging.

    Hyper Armor?

God, tell me this...how the fuck do i hire? I did it once, by mistake...but since that one death I haven't been able to hire squat.

Btw, how much of your libraries are complete? I think I must be around 75% + by now.

Hyper Armor: Kill the golden knight. He can be found in the living armor area of level 14. FYI- This fucker is absolutely tanking HP. Unless your stats are hyped like a mother fucker, prepare for a longass fight.

Oh, and The False God isn't the last boss. But yeah, he's pretty fucking difficult to kill, so it'd be prudent to stack strength, vitality, and intelligence. Oh, and make your sword as big as possible, naturally.

Is there no way to start your game over again?

Go to the house where you can change your equipment and walk off screen to the right, you will find the option to erase your saved data.

Prepare to get your ass raped. Srsly.

Edit: You need a dark sword. Choose a different sword, and start grinding for onyx.

How do you get the golden knight to appear? Do you have to kill Death first?

No. He's a random spawn. Just keep trolling the Living Armor area, and keep your fingers crossed. Yeah, he's retardedly ripped in the HP department, so be prepared for a long-ass boring fight.

Here's a hint; rare monsters pop up more often with higher luck.

I can't tell whether I prefer grinding in the trees or in the wasteland. Trees give awesome fruit, but wasteland gives awesome cash.

Don't bother leveling up Strength for a long time if you can help it. It is more often than not cheaper to level up your sword. I had a level 2000+ sword that was completely blank most of the game.

Hyper armor is only good for The Avatar; don't bother getting it otherwise. 9999+ Fire resistance 0 everything else I think.

Get Chaser spell as soon as possible. It's in the empty store on the armor-leveling square, but you have to keep going back into it to mke it appear. It costs 100,000,000, but it is very worth it.

I just beat the doppleganger without even being hit once. The trick to remember is the doppleganger doesn't had any magic so you the chaser spell to slaughter him. Oh and give him you smallest weapon.

Does anyone know if the energy blade is actually better than the other weapons?

What do you get from the Temple of the Sun?

    crappy spell. Shockwave.

Don't waste time on that. Get the final guy, go camp Golden knight (use the autoclicker unless you love the game so much that you are willing to spend hours clicking), kill Avatar, pump stats, kill hellhound. Game over.

Nowai. You forgot about the trophy from the Avatar. It turns all the stat temples into boss fights and makes every monster insanely hard.

Yes. But i don't consider blindly pumping stats and camping Avatar as fun, so don't care about Nightmare mode.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to camp though; I got it first kill.

Saying that, I was done with the game after I beat the stat temple bosses.
