    There were a couple that scared me a lot. There was one with the people getting stuck in a black and white school and another where the comic book drawings (?) came true and the one with the Halloween masks that couldn't come off or something.

    What other scary books did people read as a child? I remember being creeped out by the Scary Stories books\pictures.

    I read the Nightmare Room and Fear Street books, which were also written by R.L. Stine.

    I also remember reading the Are You Afraid Of The Dark? books.

    My favorite ones were the one with the kid who found a secret recipe for flight, and then the one where a kid turned into like a comic book character. He bled ink and everything.

    More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark? I checked that book out of the library probably more times than was really healthy.

    So apparently the Demon Headmaster was an entirely different series of books/tv shows. That counts then.
