Honestly, as Kang said, it's lost it's feeling of suspense. Irene may have missed one person, but I could easily see how her callouts were likely true ones. That, and even her likely ally isn't all that well hidden.

Nothing against you, Vesvius, the game just hit an unintended snag. That said, also like Kang, I don't have any real problems with playing the game out, but I feel like it's possibly a foregone conclusion already.

 

Sorry vesvius. Even if Irene is wrong, four scum are pretty much confirmed by it. A town victory is certain unless The remaining scum are damn genius. Rerunning the game may not be a bad idea. I'll play it out, if others like. But I'm calling no contest.

Alright. On my end, this game has become more of a pain then it's worth. So I'm scrapping it. We'll enter it into the archives as the first and only (hopefully) no contest in DLP Mafia history.

I think the real problem was the timing. It was only a week after HoT, when I (and a few others) really needed a longer break. Plus, well, Skyrim.

So I'm going to retool parts of the game that I noticed were a bit broken and come back in a while with a fresh perspective.

Then Gotham will truly rise again!

I'll probably announce Hunt of Thrones 2 and open up Signups early-mid December, so people can play over winter break.

Fair warning, it's radically different from HoT1 at its current, woefully unfinished state.

Sorry I haven't been very active in here, trying to get to know everyone's play styles a bit and well.. Skyrim. I played for 48 hours in a row, it was awful.

Anyway, hopefully the reboot will be more about the game and have less residual resentment from previous games.

also, I switched Lungs and Irene for the night so whatever happened to Lungs woulda hit Irene. Too bad we didn't get to see that happen.
