I have been lurking on DLP for a few months now and found I was really interested in mafia variants. I felt it was time to declare myself and start posting. I don't have any DLP mafia experience but I have followed Warlock Hunt and A Hunt Of Thrones.

Question on villains. Are the list of roles for the villains distributed between the two mobs through rng? I.e. when the Penguin picks his first player they get a role from the six other non-Bane roles? Or are there specific roles assigned to each faction?

What happens is that everyone is assigned roles as usual. The player who drew Penguin looks at the other six villain roles and chooses which one he wants to be in his mob. Let's say he picks Poison Ivy. Ivy's player is informed that she's joined Penguin's Mob, and Bane is informed that Ivy is off the table. Bane makes his pick and so on.

Uugh, not sure if I should sign-up or not. HoT is really stressful for me right now, and I should probably take a big long break from mafia games.

When will the game start? If it starts a while after HoT is likely to end, then I'll play. If it's too soon, I think I'll sit it out.

 

I still think batgirl has problems (but they're more like 'including that role at all is a problem') but eh. It's better than it was before and I'm ok with playing now.

Actually, Palindrome makes a good point. I am exhausted from the HoT sauce, and the Children QT is enough for me to want some rest. I need a bit of an interval to collect myself.
