You could grab the Fanficdownloader plugin for Calibre, alternatively. It supports more sites than I heard of, stores your password for them, can update all your downloaded fics simultaneously, and automatically uploads them to your reading device.

I am in no way a programmer, but through trial-and-error I managed to tweak the code so it works now (for me at least). Hope this helps. View attachment 1060

@Entreri: I agree, that plugin for Calibre is a great alternative.

Your fix seems to be working mkat16. Thank you so much!

I did try the Calibre plugin. I still like Graffer the best and I haven't really seen any other program that tells you which fics have been recently updated.

For anyone also having problems with Graffer and FF.Net's new layout format (I got no title or chapters beyond 1 to 1) here's a plugin fix. Took forever of trial-and-error.

Edit: updated attachment for FFNet's latest changes. :facepalm

Thanks again mkat16. It doesn't seem to be displaying which stories are recently updated but at least it's working now.

I haven't had any problems myself regarding fanfic updates, at least beyond the usual slight-delay effect, so I'm afraid I'm no use there. Is it just from fanfiction.net that's not updating or various other sites as well?

And you're welcome. I'm just glad I haven't caused any crashes or glitches with my fiddling.

I don't think I've had any updates from other sites yet, so I'm not sure about that. I just got one update so I guess it's just really delayed. Another that updated early in the day still hasn't showed up yet.

The update is really useful now since the new layout is so terrible.

Thank you for updating the plugin! I'm not sure what ffnet is thinking but the new layout is ugly, and some times the drop down menu floats off screen. :fire

So Graffer has finally died on me. No update notices, plugins no longer work, nada. It is beyond my poking skills. If there is anyone out there willing to poke at this unique and very useful little app, I humbly beg for your expertise.

thanks for the plugin update man! Anyone know links to more templates? The templates it comes with are very very basic and people must have made others.

So I know this thread is really old now, but I'm having an issue with Graffer today. I have one story that downloads fine, some that seem to start then fail, and others that fail outright. I haven't been able to find any coding changes (to my amateur eyes) and so have no idea what the problem could be. :(

    Help? Anyone?

You should try this version of plugin for ff.net. It's my most recent one and it usually works. You should paste it into Plugins folder in Graffer directory after unziping.

Anyone have an updated plugin for Fanfiction.net? Every download fails now. Why do they have to keep changing their website? Grrrr.
