Recently moved my computer to another location. At some point during the move, fuckery has occurred. Resolution has gone to shit, and my screen now looks like it was set up for someone with sight impairment. I'm pretty sure the integrated graphics is in use over the dedicated graphics card, regardless of which DVI port I use. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 660Ti.

How do I go check that this is the issue, and how do I make the computer go back to using the proper graphics card?

Well, for starters make sure it's plugged into the graphics card, then change the resolution to a more appropriate one? lol.

Already mucked about with available resolutions and learned my lesson about plugging it into the proper outlet last year...

If it's not the wrong port, then I dunno. Push your card into its slot firmly and evenly. That's about all I got.

If you get a picture when you plug it into your 660, then the integrated is obviously not in use - otherwise you wouldn't get a picture at all, since the integrated can't just transmit its signals through your 660. Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? If reinstaling the drivers doesn't work, then check in the nvidia control panel under "change resolution" if your monitor is recognized correctly.

I'd say the first step is to reseat the card, make sure the move didn't bump it out of the PCIe slot. Second is to uninstall/reinstall drivers. Third check overclock if any. Fourth, use an alternate slot/graphics card. Beyond that, you may have to RMA it.

So using my amazing skills of technomagic, I solved the problem. Issue has been resolved through the cunning exchange of the DVI cable for a HDMI.

Thanks for all the help guys.
