Okay, so this is somewhat random, but I was watching Field of Dreams on TV today and remembered just how much I love that movie. It made me curious, what are other people's favorite sports movies? I generally love the genre, and wanna find some that maybe I don't know. The other of my favorites has got to be Remember the Titans, its just a really solid film.

 

While I really like the movies you mentioned, especially Field of Dreams, my favorite sports movie is definitely Breaking Away.

Its not really a movie that you would expect to be good, but for some reason I just love it every time I see it. I'm from the town that its set and filmed in, so I'm probably a little biased, but its a great film in my opinion.

Cool Runnings. Possibly partly due to nostalgia, but still.

 

The Rookie. Enough said. The Perfect Game comes close though.

 

Friday Night Lights for me. Above the Rim is a close second.
