That's one of Foamy the Squirrel's songs but I don't recall them being given individual names.

I looked this up on google, so I won't say anything, but, can we get a little variety? If you're not into this kind of music, you're not going to get this, and it has been the same kind of music for the past two rounds. For example, I bet that the-caitiff will know exactly what song this is.

Actually I dont have a clue. Had to google it same as you did. I felt stupid when I did but then again I don't own the album. "I Died For You" (my challenge) is pretty mainstream as far as metal goes (ok, it's not Ironman or Enter the Sandman but most people I know can at least identify it when it starts playing) so I thought it was safe.

I was a little too tall
    Couldve used a few pounds
    Tight pants points hardly reknown
She was a black-haired beauty with big dark eyes
And points all her own sitting way up high
    Way up firm and high

Out past the cornfields where the woods got heavy
Out in the back seat of my 60 chevy
Workin on mysteries without any clues

actually, anyone who listens to metal over other genres of music would pick that one up almost immediately, since i included the title of the song in the posted lyrics and that the song is one of the most recognised on that particular album, which is the best of that group.

I'm sure we have a couple of metal fans on this site. Only metal I can stand is Korn, and I absolutelty love them, but im sure there are some. And as no one has guessed correctly without looking it up, your point is kind of invalid.

I really wouldnt call Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, or Demons and Wizards mainstream, Its rare that I find another person who's heard of them.

An easy one to get this thread started again.

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
    Oh, oh.

Quite easy, All kinds of time by Fountains of Wayne.

Queen of Light took her bow
And then she turned to go,
The Prince of Peace embraced the gloom
    And walked the night alone.

Oh, dance in the dark of night,
    Sing to the morning light.
The dark Lord rides in force tonight
And time will tell us all.

Hey Frankenstein, what’s on your mind?
Hey dracula, I heard you suck
Now Vincent Price was Dr. Phibes
    Come steal my brain Fritz
And take it to Dr. Frankenstein
    [pre-chorus]
Well you can knock on ed wood
But it won’t do you no good
    No, no, no, no good
Cause all of my heroes are dead in Hollywood

Hey Norman Bates, how are your rates?
    Hey Leatherface, remove my… face
Hey Tall Man, just take my hand
And lead me to your red planet
    [pre-chorus]
    [chorus]
You’re so dead in, dead in Hollywood
Dead, you’re so dead in, dead in Hollywood

    D.E.A.D. that’s how I wanna be
    [pre-chorus, chorus]
    Whoa, dead in Hollywood
    Whoa, dead in Hollywood
    Whoa, dead in Hollywood
    Whoa

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark, since I've no idea what the song really is, and go with Dead in Hollywood by... Someone.

If you really want to make it difficult, just put a few of the verse lyrics; ones which don't contain the song title... So Around the World is out I'm afraid :p

New song I'm pretty much obsessed with, have fun.

I think the title of the song is kryptonite.. and the band is 3 doors down.. yes that´s it.

    Should be quite easy.

i think that is coming undone by korn.

Once a day falling on the trail walking blind trade nothing descretion in low,
It's hard to wait taking yourself in honor I should know how low I can go

Before I go high I get very down, and I'll be going after it again and again

You know I cant go the other way without being trashed, lost, and strungout,
When together try something drug and you question me what's to coming out

Before I go high I get very down, and I'll be going after it again and again

Maybe I Should'a (Could'a) trashed my life for this I turn to you.
But today I'm trashed I know I'll be harassed so tell me what the fuck to do

I need to get it to the point where I cannot do nothing
But trying to beat something outa
You let me drown way deep down below for a sleep that'll surely let go,
Until the end I raise and batter around looking at my own reflection forever
I shall kiss you good bye to kill my soul addiction

Before I go high I hit the ground,
The only way I ever get down,
Then with the next you'll tell me where to go,
And after it I'll want more

I need to get it to the point where I cannot do nothing
But trying to beat something outa
You let me drown way deep down below for a sleep that'll surely let go,
Until the end I raise and batter around looking at my own reflection forever
I shall kiss you good bye to kill my soul addiction....

As its been so long, I went to google to get the answer and smacked myself in the head when I saw it was Poem (taproot) by Disturbed. I should have known that. To get the game going, all start with another easy one.

BTW, Aekiel, was Neffiedrake right with you last one? you said the band was new, 3 doors down is hardly new, although the lyrics do match.

Neffie was right, I was referring to how it was a new song for me :p. Sorry, mustn't have made it too clear there.

And yet again I show my ignorance of most music :p. I think I may be stuck in the 80s :D.
