I'm playing on Tarnished Island at the moment with some swtor guildies but I would be more than happy to make an alt for DLP.

 

Unfortunately, if it was your intent otherwise, you can only have one true server at a time. As with our EU compatriots though, you can always Guest play PvE on other servers. No WvW for Guests though. You do still get your particular realm's WvW bonus, if any are applicable, and you can do sPvp I suppose.

There is very little reason to split into US and EU region guilds. Latency has been very good for those in Europe on US servers, so you can have everyone in the guild on a US server.

For those about to ask, region doesn't retrict which servers you can access. It restricts where you login from.

 

The difference between 50 and 150 MS is not that big of a deal for GW2, for 99% of encounters it won't make a difference.

Are you guys going to instantly use your tome of influence for the DLP guild? I probably will only join DLP and use all my potential influence there.

Played in the last stress test. Didn't know what I was doing, but damn if it wasn't fun running from dynamic event to dynamic event.

 

I've pre-ordered the game and will play on EU, not sure which server yet though, need to do some research so I don't end up with all the Russians, Italians and all the other scrubs who refuse to talk English in the general chat. I'll join the EU DLP guild if it's on a good server.

Actually, while I fully support a separate EU DLP, DLP Europe, or whatever it ends up being called, maybe we should at least try to see if what others have said is true about latency for Europeans on the US Servers?

With free server transfers for a time after launch, it shouldn't be hard to go back to the Underworld (heh), if the US Servers prove unsatisfactory.

Just a thought...
