Just bought the Digital Deluxe edition too, Rentar.1526.

 

I'm in! Wargor.7364. Only opted for the standard digital edition though, Deluxe just didn't seem worth it to me.

 

Hmmm... having had to spend most of my remaining money on Rent at the beginning of the month, and then a little bit on groceries, has left me with only around $25 for the time being.

So, I'm out of luck until around the twentieth or so, most likely.

Priorities(food/shelter)... what ya gonna do?

 

Yeah, Fen, it is not a big deal currently. I bought it and I am stuck with a case of, Now What? The beta forums are down anyways so I can't do anything with it.

 

Digital Deluxe, baby. In celebration I activated the 7 titles I had been saving for a special occasion, and got myself God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals. Not particularly special, but I figured now was a good moment for it.

 

I will buy sometime in the next month. It shall be wonderful.

 

By the way, I don't recall if it was specifically mentioned in this thread, but I presume it's essentially a given that there will be a DLP Guild(Acronym "DLP" perhaps), considering the way that Guilds will work in this game.

 

I'd be interested in one for sure.

 

Iztiak, besides the obvious Vanquish/Skill Hunter/Guardian/Eotn Reputation tracks, what did you max your 30 titles on?

I am running into an issue of not knowing what titles I will max to get the last 2 titles.

Also, I shall join the DLP Guild with great haste.

 

Let's see... Vanquisher(4) + Skill Hunter(4) + Cartographer(4) + Guardian(7) +Norn/Ebon/Asura/Delver(4)
So outside the usual 23, I maxed:

Savior Of The Kurzicks
Legendary Spearmarshal
Holy Lightbringer
Legendary Master of the North
Legendary Survivor
Life Of The Party
Incorrigible Ale Hound

I was terribly lazy about titles, haha. Over 3000 hours of play before I got it.

 

Ha, at this point I have all of those set up for but the Factions Kurzick or Luxon. What was your primary method of farming Kurzick faction and how long would you say it took you?

 

Well, you don't actually have to max out the Kurzick/Luxon titles to the points for them. I think you only have to get to rank 4 to be able to display them in the HOM. Rank 4 for each is 550,000 faction.

I have to work on my hard mode titles anyway, so I plan on completing those book thingies (Shiro's Return and Young Heroes of Tyria) on hard mode and turning them in. Those two combined should net you a couple hundred thousand points (note that you don't actually get any faction for those books, the points are directly applied to the title). Follow that up with vanquishing under bounty and it should bring you pretty close to rank 4. At that point you could just complete one/both of those books again and finish up.

No matter how you look at it, it's gonna take a while.

 

I uh, actually didn't farm any of it. lol

I accomplished R12 from doing Fort Aspenwood and Jade quarry almost exclusively. >_> Probably a good bit of it from doing random other things in Cantha through the course of my time playing the game, but it was primarily those two arenas.

God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals =/= HOM points

Rank 4 won't cut it.

 

Whoops, reading fail. I thought he meant HOM points. But yeah, if you actually want to max those titles out, you're in for a long haul.

 

The hell? How much FA/Jade Quarry did you do?

 

...A lot. >_> Haha..

But yeah, my brother and 2-3 friends would sync join FA, before anyone even played JQ due to the lack of reward. We'd try the strangest strategies, it was incredibly fun.

 

I just bit the bullet and pre-ordered the deluxe edition; does anyone know when they send out the beta client download links?

If you can't pull off the build exactly, go NM. Still will take 30-40 hours to max it however if you do it that way.
