    :lol: Both of you guys just proved my point. It's fanfiction bias, that's the only reason you hate Ron. That's the only reason most people hate Ron. Eh, anyways, everybody's entitled to their opinion.

    lol, well, he didn't exactly pick Scabbers. I'm guessing that the rat had some sort of sentimental value to Ron. After all, he was his for about three years. And Crookshanks did try to off Scabbers, so that's why Ron didn't like it. I agree with Ron. I hate Crookshanks. I don't like cats, actually.

    yeah... GoF turned me against ron... my personal theory was that he secretly knew it was pettigrew.. <_< .. just seems the type to be a DE to me...

    but then there is also that theory i found somewhere that Ron is really Dumbledore marooned in time or something... but i dun like dumbledore anymore than ron.. seems too much of a manipulative bastard to me..

    I whole heartedly agree with TaldMar, both Ron and Draco are just cheap plot ploys. One rich, one poor. Two sides of the same coin.

    Id bet money on Ron going Dark, and Draco going light before the whole thing is over.

    In the... say, the Dragonlance world, duality plays a huge role, but it is played out in a great way, and is not in your face.

    IN HP, almost everything is in pairs, and it's so obvious it borders on aggrivating.

    Neville, near squib, possible child of prophecy./Harry, obviously powerful, possible child of prophecy

    Sirius, rich, handsome, powerful Dark (family) turned light. Vrs Peter, money status unknown, ugly man, weak, Light turned dark.

    Ron/Near Anything + Malfoy/Near anything

    Theres a huge amount more, don't have time to type them all out tho, and not tyrying to hijack the thread =P Do a search for duality in Ho universe, I printed out a little essay that had over 100 glaring instances =P

    Just my humble opinion though.
