    Title: Halftime
    Author: Spanner
    Rating: Unrated, Approximate T
    Genre: Action/Adventure
    Status: Complete
    Fandom: Ranma/Chrono Trigger
Pairings: Various canon and crossover pairings, none particularly central
Summary: Divided into twenty-three chapters, Halftime is a crossover between Ranma 1/2 and 'Chrono Trigger', an excellent Role Playing Game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
    Link: Mirror

After the "good ending" of Chrono Trigger, the Epoch blunders into present day Nerima while chasing Crono's lost mom through time. Crono, Marle, and Lucca land at the Tendo house, and pretty much everyone in both fandoms manages to get involved from there.

This is a cool and apparently really old (circa 2000) fanfic with a crossover which probably does not exist anywhere else, and a pretty well written one at that. The feel of the adventure stays surprisingly true to both sources, and I found the whole thing really enjoyable overall. One detail I actually liked was that while Crono speaks in the story, you never actually get to hear his words: all of Crono's lines are in Tell-not-Show format (ie: Crono said they should do this, Crono talked over the plan with Lucca).

This rare gem in the sparse Chrono Trigger fandom gets a 5/5 from me.

    Bumped to gain attention.

It's already three weeks in. I give this one until Monday to get some Ranma fans to rate and review.
