I thought that the Riddick game was better than the movie. I'm probably alone in that sentiment though..

Are you talking about Escape from Butcher Bay?

It was supposed to be a pretty good game, but you can't really say it's better than the movie it's based on. Seeing as how it isn't really based on the movie, taking place years before.

I mean, that would be like comparing KOTOR to Episode 3.

The beginning was good enough for me to rate it a 3/5 by default, but basically everything after when
he cuts the guy's hand off with the lampshade
sucked. An interesting, as said before, superhero-Highlander kind of concept, but mishandled.

I read the original script the movie was based off of, too: Tonight, He Comes. You can get a PDF somewhere if you Google it.

...Actually, I was kind of thinking of doing an AU fanfic of Hancock, after that point in the movie. >_>

I liked it over-all. The first half was really really good, then the second half was OK. It's one of those movies where all the really good parts in the movie are included in the movie trailer. None the less I'll probably still buy it since Will Smith is one of my favorite actors :D

Others might be disappointed because the lack of actions and antagonists, I was disappointed for other reasons. I didn't mind the drama and the angst of a super hero trying to cope with the world but the half-baked plot made it all fell flat. Not very satisfying. If I only took the humour into account, it's a total success.

I hated the uniform though, but at least it was black and no underwear on the outside.

That being said, I'd like to state that I like Superman.
