I find all these pics of "actresses" to be laughable. No mere mortal can possibly represent the perfection that is Fleur.

 

Err, what? I just said 'American' isn't a racial classification. Caucasian is. I never said anything about 'white' or whatever.

A Cadmean Victory is an excellent fanfic. It has Harry grow colder and stronger, and has a little less Harry/Fleur moments than I'd like, but excellent writing. Look it up!

 

Sure you did. The original post used "American" as a sort of symbolic impression, which can possibly incorporate cultural elements, as opposed to a cultural. You took the pedantic path of saying American isn't a race, despite him not saying "Her racial makeup is clearly American." So you said she was not X but Y. Taure is pointing out the irony in the correction as she is actually not Y but Z.

And you totally are saying Caucasian is white.

Of course Caucasian is 'white'. In fact, it is defined like that. But I know that Caucasian spans multiple genetic sources.

Still, in that case, that girl is Caucasian when talking about race, and not American. Since American is not a classification of race.

 

Isn't this all rather pointless, though? The point, and I think it's a fair one, is that Bryana Holly simply looks more American than most people would envision Fleur.

I think part of that, though, is the fact that googling her gets a ton of underwear pics. I never really envisioned Fleur as a sex kitten. Something like this suddenly makes me think she could actually work:

That makes her look much more 'fairy tale princess' and less playboy bunny but she's still missing some gallic features.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I find it weird that H/F fics sometimes bring up the avian form that veela turn into when angered but there's never been a scene where Harry and Fleur get angry at each other and have some nice rough sex while she's screeching in her form.

I am pretty sure there were a few. But sadly I counldnt point one out. Dont really keep track in which fic that occured.

 

Never saw one myself, but there are plenty where Harry screws CatGirl!Hermione, female centaurs and...Draco I guess, so it's highly probable that there are a few. Compared to some stuff around, Bird!Fleur is pretty tame.

The fact that Fleur can turn into a bird is a big turn off for me. That simply negates her sex appeal.

 

I'm just surprised nobody has written Fleur/Buckbeak yet.

 

Or a fic where Fleur is seemingly coming onto Harry super strong, but she's just using him to get it on with Hedwig.

 

A pen pal fic where Harry writes to Fleur all the time, not knowing why Hedwig is so eager for him to reply.
