Gotta say I absolutely love harry paired with fleur or gabrielle. I liked fleur mostly from his angel and letters since I liked an insecure fleur that was amazingly cute and gabrielle I liked from the movie and then liked her more when I read hope. I also love any harry alure ammune storys probably because it speads up development for the really short storys but I honestly like longer storys which there more

 

I also feel however that James is one as well

 

Anyway, as much as Fleur/Hedwig was fun its probably time to shelve the furry shit. It inevitably attracts posters like the above from the dark corners of the internet.

I'll let you decide whether it's promising, but I'm posting a long, slow-burn Harry/Fleur fic in WbA right now. Taking Umbridge. It's a fifth year fic with a strong diverging from storyline after the 3rd task. Although following canon for the most part until the divergence, Fleur's portrayed a little differently, and returns to Hogwarts in year five through a back-door deal between Dumbledore and Beauxbatons to protect Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and to counter Umbridge's agenda partially by teaching a class on non-human sentient beings (damn that's a long, bad sentence). Her age and other items about teaching are handled in the first chapter.

I have 2 and a half chapters posted. All but the last 2 chapters and conclusion are written. I'm editing them and posting them in WbA now before they go on FF.

 

Fuck I hate that fic. Everytime it pops on the forums as last posted to, it brings up this vision…

Rename it ASAP please.

Full disclosure, Scrubb, teacher!Fleur is equal parts an uninspired, tired trope to bring Fleur to Hogwarts and a recipe for disaster, in that it makes any sort relationship (friends/lovers) much more awkward than it otherwise would be.

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt because I know what you can do, and I'll read it with an open mind, but I want you to know that I'd never open a fic like that if I was browsing on ffnet or if someone rec'd it to me with that description.

Hello guys, first timer here

I really love the Harry/fleur pairing, but I have a fear of reading T stories. In my experience, stories rated M tend to be on a higher tier than their T counterparts. But with the well of fiction running dry, I am getting desperate. Does anyone have any rated T Harry/fleur to hopefully disabuse me of my fears?

 

I find T to generally be better for plot driven stories. M is just code for will feature smut. Course, most fics are shit anyway.
