JK has nothing on determining who's hot. If canon Padma is so good looking, why had nobody asked her to the ball already, and she ended up having to go with Ron. Sorry, but that's fail.

 

The movie was cast terribly. In the movie both Padma and Parvati are wearing gryffindor colours. Major fuck up. Padma hot? Canon fact. Ginny hot? JK's delusions of the perfect romance with an ugly ginger slut.

In the movie, I seem to remember the two patils saying hi to Harry in the same common room.

 

I thinks Seamus made that comment. But then again, Cho was supposed to be the hottest girl around if J.K. was to be believed.

Yeah. Even though they were made from the, lets say, less interesting books, in my opinion PS and CoS where clearly the mos faithful to the books of the lot. After that it was just one big mess up after another. Remember the end of the OotP where Double d get's his ass kicked by Voldy, well, I'd swear in the books it was the other way around.
Guess that's what It's like to have so much money that your life's work doesn't even matter any more.

Anyway, who cares if one of them isn't as hot as Fleur, you get two for the price of one, hehe.

 

Really, the only canon certified babe is Fleur, with Tonks getting automatic 2nd place for being 1) A Black and 2) Metamorphmagus.

Bellatrix gets points for obvious wetdream!Harry moments, and Daphne gets points for being Slytherin and managing to not be fucked over by Rowling like Parkinson and Bullstrode.

Everything else is like the Bible - we'll all interpret it as we will.

 

Basically total truth. Except Daphne is number 1 no questions asked. Daphnes is teh hawtest of all canon females. 'Cept for possibly Fleur.

 

I think fem!Blaise gets a few extra points for being one of J.K.'s biggest mess ups, even if she is just fanon. Although, may be, ending up being guy should make her loose points....whatever.

 

I know the subject is closed, but I felt it is necessary to point out that Britain did colonize India, so an English speaking Indian is not that hard to believe (Squanto aside).

 

Everyone in India speaks English. It is one of their official languages.

I've been there and most Indian chicks seem to be incredibly hot.

Heh, I thought that little twist in Ch 10 was well done, and good for the story. It fit.

What's happening with 'The Unbearable Lightness of Fleur Delacour"? No news, no updates for near two months now.

 

Scary, can we safely say that yours is Harry/Fleur as well, or are you still holding us in suspense?

Unbearable Lightness needs updating, and I gather Methene is reworking his script so as to make it less of a standard-bashing-fic-meets-red-dawn, but dammit - we need more Fleur!

 

Yeah , I was actually working on my own Harry/Fleur fic, but I like yours and Pers' so much that I dont dare post my own. Besides It would be my first fic so I'm a bit scared even though I have about 20 pages on notes about politics and personalities (and many more about the plot).

 

Suspense, I'm afraid. I'm thinking of keeping it that way till the end. The mystery excites me, and I'm the one writing it...

Even if it doesn't end as Harry/Fleur, there are plenty of moments coming up between them, written and planned. If it is what you are after, there is, undoubtedly, a sex scene between them coming up.

I'd post it anyway. You would only improve by getting criticsed - helpful criticism at least - as long as it doesn't end up with six pages of 'phail' and 'jailbait' pics.

Sixth Year is my first fic and God knows it has its faults, but I am improving.

Not much 'jailbaiting' goes on in WBA, comparatively, so you should be fine. (You may need the obligatory thick skin, but that's the nature of DLP concrit...).

D&R was my first fic too, warts and all. I've learned a hell of a lot trying to blunt-force-traumatize it into readability.

Tidus, as has been said, pictures of FAIL only come about the more general forum, as the WbA is designed to be a place for improvement and constructive critisism, even if harsh. The exception of course, is Tao, but he was something else entirely.
