Everything is my honest opinion. I don't have time for delusion of self or others, I always speak honestly. I said I held back in my response, making it much less personal, but generally I do not censor myself, I see no need. I think, in fact, the rampant restraint (read dishonesty) is one of the worst traits of human beings. Much worse than any of the opinions I've put forth.

I'm not offended, and I didn't mean to make it sound as if I was. I just think if I'm going to be defending my view against a large number of posters, I shouldn't be getting warned for not being good natured enough when I was in fact trying to defend myself against numerous posts, which I doubt anyone would find a nice, happy experience. I've been a victim of real bullying (read someone holding you down while others are beating the shit out of you), in fact in canon it is implied Harry is with Dudley's crew, but there is no violence between him and Snape, Snape in fact in HBP does nothing when he's attacked Draco, and at the end when he has the chance to attack Harry, he does not. He never goes beyond point taking and smack talking. To me, that's not bullying. Its like 'verbal abuse'... its somthing people without real problems complains about. That's my opinion, and having been both bullied and picked on (which is what I call what Snape does), and being physically and sexually abused, as well as 'verballly abusd', I can honestly say from my personal experience that calling being picked on 'bullying' (or 'verbally abused' abuse) is like a slap in the face to people who have been through real bullying and real abuse. And in my expierience the ones who have suffered the most whine the least. Maybe your experience tells you otherwise. I'm done.

I've been a victim of it as well (read as I've been knifed and had to carry a ballbat for protection), and regardless abuse is abuse, and as was mentioned earlier, it is made worse by the fact that he is in a mentor role and his attitude is directed towards a child.

Being picked on is what Draco does to Harry, and what Ron does/gets to/from Draco as well, not ruining their school lives with bad marks, and sabatoging their chosen careers by failing them on purpose.


I'm not going to dignify the post after that one with a response point by point, no matter how you cut it, it was not needed, and will not happen again by anyone. Noone is forced to post here as I've said before I believe in a previous warning to you, and if it gets to the point where the main content of the post is nothing/major points are insults, if the poster does not wish to leave, I'll happily smack him or her in the face with a banstick on the way out.

It's seems as if you feel you are mostly innocent, and I'm over reacting, but in this occurance its my opinion that matters. Raven is staying out of it in the midst of playing with his PC, and Vash is content to talk to you the he feels you talked to the boards. I'm the one who's acting as the enforcer of what we wish the boards to be in this instance. Its not personal, I'm trying to be fair about it, despite the fact that I'm beyond annoyed.

Straight up, the guy is the cleverest character in Harry Potter. Bar NONe. He is AT LEAST able to trick Dumbledore if not both (which is what I believe) He is also an asshole. Don't get me wrong, I love to hate him, but he's a dick. He called Lily a "mudblood" which I consider on par with the N-word, and he singles out Harry for abuse. Granted the story is told only from Harry's perspective and he could be mean to Hermione for being associated with Harry, but at least (regarding Harry) we know it is unjustified. He walked in the door and Snape was quizzing him about "Finding a Bezoar". The dude also fucks around with his future, deliberately failing him. NOT COOL. FYI I have NEVER liked people who picked on me and I have ALWAYS thought of them as cocksuckers. Is it as bad as getting the shit beaten out of you (I've Had that too)? No, but it still sucks.

James we don't know enough about. We know he was mean to Snape one warm summer day after exams, and we know that Snape called Lily a mudblood in response. Not a lot of info. We also know that James told Lily to "Take Harry and run." Brave, but not smart. My opinion of James is that he has more balls than brains. I mean, why didn't they have an emergency portkey? And gallivanting around with a werewolf on the full moon does not seem like the smartest idea. Was he brave trying to fight off Voldemort single-handedly? yes, but it wasn't the most productive thing to do.

Also, Midknight, I agree that Dumbledore is probably still alive, but I don't think you can work under that assumption. You have to go what's in canon. Everything else is inferred.

I had a thing like this where Hedwig was a dark Ice Bird. SHe basically could conjure gusts of cold wind and big volley ball size chunks of ice. (the balls were used to intercept curses in my thing and the ice breath was used to stop Fawkes from "teleporting in a ball of fire" (as the fire was stopped by the ice :wink: )) Use that version of Hedwig if you want or come up with your own version.
