I remember readding a story about Harry being a necromancer a while ago, and the title seems to elude me. Blaise was a girl and a vampire. Wish I had more to go on..... Anyone know what it is?

 

Harry Potter and the Litany of Blood perhaps? Hang on a second, I'm about to go on a FFN dive to look for this. I swear I remember reading something like this a while ago...

 

Was it a completed fic? That might narrow things down.

Blaise is not a main character, but she helps with some necromantic rituals near the end and I think it is possible she was a vampire in it. Not saying the story is good or anything, but its there.


TBH, the only vampire!fem!blaise fic I know of is the one I have written, but it is not a necromancer story, because I don't think necromancy works very well in the HP universe.

I am starting to remember reading a fic where blaise was a half vampire thing, with necromancy in the story, but it was last summer and I cannot remember it. I know she was not a main character in that one, so searching for it would be somewhat tough. If it is the one i'm thinking of, then Voldemort raises Harry's parents to haunt him in his dreams by using some voodoo lady from jamaica.

 

Pretty sure Sin Saiori got what OP was looking for.

Has fem. Blaise that's (half?)vampire. Also has Fleur as a Hogwarts med-witch. Harry was archmage, but Voldemort was necromancer so that was transfered to Harry when Voldemort tried to kill him. Harry goes to vampires to learn necro-powers b/c w/e they do is close to necromancer.

Good fic back in the day.

I dunno about the other fics, but Litany of Blood was never finished.

 

The Dark Witch and the Necromancer isn't an amazing story, but I still enjoyed it quite a lot. Give it a go IMO, but don't expect it to be really good.

 

It was the first harry/bella story I ever read, and still holds a special spot in my heart. It's not really good, but sometimes it doesn't have to be good for it to be entertaining.

 

Yes, it is a sad state of affairs that so many ambitious works were never finished.

Thats the one thank you very much. I will enjoy re-reading this despite it not being finished it is one of the first fics I can remember that I was really engaged in.
