I'm looking for a great HP/Wanted fic, but I can't seem to find any. Dunno if it has ever been done before.

The story doesn't have to be about the Fraternity, or Fox, Wesley, or all the other guys in the film. The only thing i really want is for Harry to have the 'Gift' for Super-Human Adrenal Production (SHAP). I like the idea that Harry has a totally non-magical ability, that still gives him an edge (plus i like the combination of "panic attacks" and accedental magic during his upbringing at the Dursleys, what fun it could be).

This is both a story Request, and a story Challenge.

Wanted the comic was much better. That being said, bending spells would be quite interesting, and we would finally have a better rationale for explaining "spell dodging." Some scenes might also be good for comedy-Harry popping pills at Hogwarts before attempting to learn Calming Charms as a first year.

 

I'd be interested in reading a Wanted/HP crossover. If anyone finds one, or even writes one, rec it here, please.

The movie is all about assasins who have some sort of power to be faster, stronger and smarter in the face of danger. The special effects are pretty cool.

 

Angelina Jolie is awesome at the end. With the circle and the bullet, I'll not say more.

As mentioned, Wanted is a movie about assassins. They don't assassinate random people, but do it for the "greater good". ie, kill one, save a thousand.

These new spin on the idea of an assassin comes from the fact that they have special abilities - but not in a super hero kind of way. They produce far more adrenalin than a normal person, and that's where the advantage comes in (speed, reaction time, reflexes, judgment).

One of the main "features" of the assassins comes from their abilities to "curve" bullets around objects in the way of the targets. Of course, I'd always assumed experienced wizards could control their spells anyway - but still....

I think in principal this plot bunny could be interesting, but I can't see how it could develop into a successful story without Harry turning into God. Huge chance of failing miserably. That said, if anyone writes one it would be worth it just for something different.

 

The ability to 'curve' doesn't really come from the SHAP, and i'm not really interested in curving any spells, asmuch the faster reaction time, and quick movement.

As for a Crossover, the interesting part would really be merging the universes in some way. Just giving HP the ability to get those huge adrenaline kicks and using him in a regular way would just be lame. If you simply want those reflexes, speed and whatnot, make him do a stupid ritual.

You need polarities, you can not have a super fast Harry without something to pitch him against, i.e. the Fraternity or something like it.
