no i didn't read the book, and i've only seen a partial of the movie, but it didn't seem like it had anything to do with Wanted.

 

You capitalise the movie title Wanted, but forgo capitalising your I's and the word that begins your sentence.

Also, the only relationship I can see with Forrest Gump and Wanted is, when crossed over with Harry Potter both these ideas are retarded. One idea is meant to be retarded, the other idea is retarded because it sucks.

I like the thought of a story involving Harry (or perhaps Dumbledore) effecting or being a part of the most important things from muggle pop culture in the 90s quite by accident (or over the last century for Dumbledore). For example, Harry is indirectly responsible for at least one of the following: 9/11, George Bush's low approval ratings, the American economic fallout, or Obama as president. It would make for lulz.

Other than that, Forrest Gump should never be crossed with Harry Potter. Especially with Harry as Forrest, because HARRY SHOULD NOT BE RETARDED. I'm quite certain that's a Potter Law.

As for a Wanted crossover, I think they would easily mesh. The Fraternity is all about "the greater good", so just replace the Fraternity with the Order of the Phoenix. Harry suffers "panic attacks" so regularly growing up that he thinks it is a result of being raised by the Dursleys, but each one also coincides with a bout of accidental magic. He doesn't think much of it and doesn't mention it, seeing it as a weakness. Then, in third year (although a few years later might be better), Harry finds himself about to be killed and goes into a frenzy, casting a wholly over-powered Patronus saving Sirius and himself. He mentions it to Dumbledore, expecting answers, and then Dumbledore decides to give him training at the hands of the Order. Kingsley beats the shit out of him and then heals him each day, Moody teaches him to bend spells, Remus (he's a werewolf) teaches him to fight and Dumbledore helps him harness his power. Tonks, of course, plays the part of Angelina Jolie - except she can change her appearance at will. She's still smoking hot, obviously.

Anyway, point is - it's possible. You don't even have to bring other HP characters into the mix.

 

I really don't see how this idea icorporates Wanted elements. What it seems to me is just Harry with a typical special ability recieving training from the order. It looks just like a typical Harry story. I think it would be more interesting if you incorporate the betrayal concept from the movie by making the Order actually the bad guys or something such.
