I get ticked when everyone writes the Death Eaters as a bunch of weak pricks too. I know that they are mostly sucsessful because of the terror and all that but some of them have to be skilled. At least the inner-circle has to be able to dual. I mean, Rockwood was an unspeakable... he should definitely be able to dual.

Then take into consideration that mostly all of them are Pureblooded (like it should be) and have been immersed in Magic since early childhood, it honestly has to have had some effect, such as more knowledge of the theroy and a wider veriaty of Magicks. Then for the ones that are Pure knowing how to duel is essential as it's a tradition as well as for there dueling compertitions held...Fuckin Rowling!

This one needs to go. It's a post-HBP Indy! fic, and it's 23k words worth of WTF. Harry teaches himself occlumency through meditation, basically demands to teach at Hogwarts and lead the Order, and there's a very confusing fight at the Burrow.

This is from a letter that Ron sends Harry before he leaves Privet Dr:

Forget that, who's going to beat Voldemort and his Death Eaters? I know the prophecy and all, but let's face it. Without Dumbledore, the worse outcome of the prophecy suddenly seems far more plausible. Anyway, I hope you'll be coming here soon, Ginny's been drilling my head for days. Can't a guy be worried around here?

Er, way to be encouraging, Ron. I don't think I've ever seen one of the trio tell Harry he's got no chance so bluntly.

At any rate, even the author thinks this story sucks. From his abandonment note:

Unfortunately, rereading it now is like watching a car-crash in slow-motion. It’s that bad. With audio and everything. And I couldn’t have gotten in more clichés if I tried.

So I’m killing the story. At some time I may reuse some concepts, but this story is effectively DISCONTINUED.

So there's 6 chapters, a chapter note, and seemingly abandoned.

Don't expect a 'Super Power Harry' kind of fic. I will try to keep the number of scenes which would be regarded as embarrassing to a minimum and I shall fail completely. Tough luck.

I liked the 1st part, not so much the 2nd. Let us begin to read.

WTF Moment #1: Harry taught himself Occlumency.

WTF Moment #2: Charmed Notebooks

WTF Moment #3: Harry becomes the Transfiguration Teacher.

This is all in the first chapter folks.

WTF Moment #4: Harry conjuring a Phoenix with a wave of a wand.

WTF Moment #5: Voldemort being worried about the duel with Harry when Death Eaters attack the Burrow.

WTF Moment #6: Ron calling Hermione "Mione"

WTF Moment #7: (This)

It was Tonks’ turn to be surprised. ‘Your Aunt and Uncle? You’re kidding. Their house is hundreds of miles away. You can’t tell me you’ve conjured several slabs of concrete embedded into the ground from hundreds of miles away… can you?’

She stopped when the doors opened again, revealing a person dressed in black robes, with a black hood on its head. Because of the hood, no one could see who the person was. The stranger closed the doors with wave of his hand and proceeded to the professor’s table.

WTF Moment #10:

They entered the classroom and got into their seats. About a minute after they were seated, the door opened and their professor walked inside. He was still wearing the hooded cloak. When he got ton the front of class, he raised his wand and flicked it around. The classroom’s stone floor seemed to turn liquid, starting to flow upwards until it assembled the words ‘Welcome to Transfiguration’, at which point it hardened back. The words were as tall as the ceiling. Most of the students were watching the demonstration with surprise.

There must be something I can do to ensure a higher chance of survival. Something... yes. Yes. There is something' his lips turned into a grim smile as his eyes regarded the words written on the volume in front of him. History of the Damned. He opened the tome. Scribbled on the front page in letters barely discernable were the words Harry both needed and feared. 'For those who fear Death, beware. For those who desire to conquer it, rejoice'. He turned the page. The chapter's title confirmed his suspicion.

"Professor, we are wondering why you want to be addressed as Professor Tonks, when your name is Nymph-" he shut up seeing the look on Tonks' face. The esteemed Defence professor was in a foul mood for the rest of the day.

Nobody else calls their professor by their first name. Poor excuse for humor.

WTF Moment #14:

Hermione had frozen. She was in a state of near-shock. The fact that Harry had actually been made Head of House put her off for a while, at least until the next great shock hit her. Each Head had donned a robe with his House's colours. And Harry's were green and silver. She heard Ron mutter a faint 'Go Harry' near her, and nodded her head. "Go Harry!"

Harry being made Head of Slytherin House while Slughorn is Head of Gryffindor House does really make no sense unless Harry thinks he can prevent something by being the HoH.

At least Harry lost though.
