I've told you before that I like it, and its been long awaited. Jenny is intriguing and establishes herself early on as a literary, and literal, eyecatcher, and I'd like to see more of her. Ferrovax is interesting, and insert expected shouts of your damnation for the cliffhanger. I know what happens next, if it hasn't been changed, but I'm still waiting to see the finished product, so, to quote, "POST MOAR".

I can't help but think the descriptions of all the beautiful women will become rote. Aristocratic features, soft flawless skin, cleavage, etc. And Jen's "green feline eyes" was overused.

 

This. A nice introduction to the Fae, and an interesting meeting with the Dragon. Can't wait to see what gift he's getting from the vampiress, which is what you can use instead of she-vampire.

So, my knowledge of DF is exceedingly lacking, and I'm really, really hoping Lily is the name of a character from the books that I don't know about, but in case it's not, please don't have the Summer Lady be Harry's mum. That way leads to angst! Don't give in!

On another note, of the numerous times I've come across this story, I never knew Chapter 4 even existed, so that was a nice surprise (glad I decided to re-read everything before the new stuff.)

One thing I've found you doing well throughout the story, that I hope you're able to continue, is not having one of the "in-verse" characters unnecessarily color Harry's views of those around him, and therefore leaving Harry open to making mistakes or bad judgments.

For the rest, I'll withhold comment. I find myself especially interested in how predominately the Fae will be shown.

Lily was 17 in SK. The war started a few months before SK. Thomas said `` A few years back it occurred and well. The entire war between the White Council and Red Court is because of it.'' So, Lily's, say, 19-22 in this fic. Not really sure how old Harry is in this fic, but I think it's pretty safe to say that Lily (Summer Lady) != Lily Potter.

 

I think you guys are coming up with something. It is still possible to make the Dresden Lily same as Harry Potter's mother. On the night Lily Potter 'died' it is possible for her to be reincarnated as a changeling when she invoked that ritual to save Harry. In this fic, Harry is already an adult which means their age is very close. It is good to have some hot summer fire to go with Lily's fiery temper and hair. Does that make her a cougar? I smell MILF.

Expanding upon shadetz theory, Lily's changeling nature, and the "ritual" she was performing to save Harry, allowed to her to be hurled through time and space, instead of straight into death, when hit by the Killing Curse.

But because you can't travel through time, instead of sending her back into the past, she was de-aged, and transported into the womb of a woman in Chicago, who has just found out that she's pregnant.

Due to unspecific nature of her time travel, she wasn't born until Harry was 7 (allowing her to be both older and younger then harry), and although she retains no memories of her past life, She retains her genes as Harry's mother, which allows her to have flash backs of her past life, while she's being nailed furiously by Harry, allowing you to fulfill shadetz incest fantasies :banana:

Epic indeed. There was one moment where, after Harry conjured the cone of flame, you stated that the vampires were "ignored by it"? Along with a few other grammatical errors, that part didn't make sense to me.
