    Hey!

I just finished a Harry Potter inspired Wizard Duel and I wanted to share it with everyone. It took a while to create but was definitely worth it! Please give me feedback and ideas for future HP fan films! Thanks in advance for checking it out!

You'd probably get more responses in the General Discussion forum, but not bad.

Effects were pretty well done for a fan-film, though for props you both should of worn cloaks or something, at least.

Maybe at dusk, it'd of had more ambience than in broad daylight?

Around 1:25, the music is a bit out of synch. Same at the end.

Didn't get the 'Dark Wizard' sort of feel, to be honest; maybe something could of been done to make the actor's paler? Sinister? Makeup, I dunno?

    I'd rate it 8/10. :)

Yeah, not bad at all for a fan-made film. Effects were great, but I agree it might have been nice if you guys had been wearing cloaks or something to give it more of a fantasy feel. Doesn't really matter though.

Oh, and T3t is right about this belonging in the General Discussion sub-forum moreso than here, but as it's still fanfiction of a sort (just not written) it's not completely out of place.

    Cool man, cool.

The effects where rather cool- but why did the guy with the elder wand loose the duel? The setting didn't produce the "fantasy" feeling I would have expected from a Potter- fan film either, mostly because the actors looked like ordinary people.

    7/10 for great CGI work.

Good effects, though it looked like muggles dueling, and I had no idea who the Dark Wizard was.

Well done though, this looks like it took a lot of effort.

Pretty cool use of effects for an fan film. Very smooth and fits in well with your movements.

As other people have said, looked kinda random with the (lack of) costumes.

Would probably look a bit more professional if it was a whole bit darker. You might've been able to crush the mids a bit it more and maybe should've filmed during a darker period of the day. I've found desaturating can help too.

    Good work!
