And God said, "And I shall make Lord Ravenclaw to entertain the people. And God looked down upon Lord Ravenclaw and said, "It is Good."

Excellent chapter my friend, excellent. That chapter really was needed, because without it - the story was literally left hanging. I can't wait for the next update!

Yay! I'm glad to see this updated and really like where you're going with this; my only real criticism is that Harry's constant use of "new" spells and that’s mainly because after awhile people are going to start to wonder about his skill and knowledge and probably attract the attention of whatever dark lord is running around back then.

He'll be more careful in the future, but there's only so much he can do without using a spell that wasn't invented. Using creative license, I'm going to say that a great deal of the spells he knows were already invented. Along with the dark age came a period of stagnance that stretched on into modern times and so on. People became more greedy, only creating things when it profited them, not for the whole of wizard-kind. Healers are among the notable exceptions.

A Suggestion for where Harry may find another of the 'Magus' books, in the dark ages, the center of knowledge was Constantinople... make it a journey for him :D

I wanna see Harry create some spells and then when he goes back he finds they've become common "modern" spells that he hadn't heard of before.

Just read the latest chapter and I must say, it's the best so far. Everything was great, from Rowena's lesson, Harry capturing a dementor, interogating a mage to him geting a lordship.

You DID, however, overpower Legilimency... Being able to give or take knowledge at will kinda ruins the whole schooling system. I mean, why would you have magical schools at all, if you could simply have few master legilimes imparting knowledge on kids?

Also, if it's so easy to take over a castle and lordship, then why would any wizard live like Weasleys (or simple commoners)? I guess that what Harry did was against the law. Shouldn't there be Aurors storming the castle and protecting the statute of secrecy?

Anyway, it's still a great read. It's also nice to see that your writting skills are improved with each new chapter; This chapter compared to the beggining of Silvertongue are like heaven and earth.

Hope we don't have to wait another 2 months for the next chapter... Keep it up.

This is Pre-Statute of Secrecy (according to JKR in the late 1600's (1692?) Anyway, no statute. I also figured that it wouldn't be so easy to do today.

    I agree about legilimency, though.

Perhaps I did make Legilimency a bit overpowered...I'll have to remove the giving knowledge bit. Taking knowledge I could understand though, its basically just reading the mind.

You also have to understand, there wasn't even much of society at this time. People could kill, rape, plunder at will, and usually feudal lords would just war against one another. There were towns, but the Monarchy had really only started about 150 years previous and they were rather disorganized. Feudal society was just beginning, and the largest power out there was the Church. There are no Aurors. There is no Ministry of Magic. They're on their own. The fact that Phineas Criterion is one of the more learned wizards of that time is among the reasons why he could take over a lordship like that.

Technically, Harry hasn't broken the law, as the magical law doesn't exist yet.

I thought the Ministry was made before Hogwarts... or it was something else. A group of Warlocks or someshit... I dont know. I'll look at lexicon.

Will Harry be going to anywhere outside of Britain in this story?
